Veronica's POV
I knew Aila had never gotten along with Olive, her sister-in-law. Their bond had always been rocky, and now that she'd come back, there was no chance she'd allow Olive to keep causing drama.
Wearing a calm smile, Aila spoke up. "Exactly, dear sister-in-law. Veronica blessed our Nelson family with four children. The fourth will come home soon enough. We simply need to be patient."
I watched Olive's face fall, her appetite clearly gone.
Four?!
She'd barely wrapped her head around my triplets, and now there was a fourth child? She'd always bragged about her twin grandsons, but now, stacked against my kids, it seemed...
pathetic.
If her son wasn't locked up, she'd probably be demanding more grandchildren right now!
As breakfast went on, Hunt looked my way. "Sister-in-law, any word from Leonardo yet?"
"Actually, I was about to mention that," I said, setting down my coffee. "I've got great news—Leonardo texted me. He located his father. They'll both be home soon."
