The cult known as "The Blank Screen" had salvaged a massive stadium display board. Tens of thousands of followers gathered in the debris, chanting.
"She is the End!" screamed Subject-Zero, the cult leader. "She is the Void! She is the Eraser of Pain!"
They didn't just fear her; they worshiped her as the concept of Non-Existence. They believed, with absolute fanaticism, that she was a black hole that would swallow the universe.
The screen flickered to life. SCP-009-JP appeared. She was colossal, projected onto the 50-foot screen. She did not roar. She did not attack. She simply stood there, in her sailor uniform, adjusting her glasses.
But the concept projected onto her was "Absolute Erasure."
Reality began to buckle. The air didn't explode; it simply ceased to be. The ground didn't crumble; it deleted itself. The followers cheered as their bodies began to unravel, their atoms unspooling into nothingness. They were being granted exactly what they imagined.
In the center of the void, SCP-009-JP remained pristine. She felt no satisfaction from the destruction, nor did she feel pity for the dying. A mirror does not care if it reflects a beautiful sunset or a nuclear explosion. It simply reflects.
The Foundation realized then that physical containment was impossible. You cannot kill an idea. You cannot destroy a reflection by breaking the mirror—she would just appear in the shards.
