The rain keeps coming down in steady sheets.
I tell Morris to pull his car into our family garage.
We take the elevator up to the main living area, where my four brothers are still awake, lined up in the living room like they're waiting for an interrogation.
Their faces look grim.
There's this palpable tension in the air, like they're ready to pounce.
I grasp Morris's hand tighter. Standing before my four brothers, I refuse to let any nerves show.
