The memories after my shift came in jagged fragments, like broken glass cutting through my consciousness. All I knew was that I had unleashed hell on everything around me. The mansion where I had spent my childhood became my target, though calling it home would be a lie. It had never been home.
Home existed only where Cornelia was. Without her, I was nothing but a lost soul wandering through destruction.
Griffin had stolen that from me.
My brothers watched as I tore through the estate with savage fury. Caleb and Colter made no move to intervene as my claws ripped through walls and my teeth shredded furniture. They understood my need to bleed out this agony through violence. The pain coursed through our bond, and I felt their own suffering, but they possessed the restraint I had abandoned.
Control meant nothing now. My mind had fractured, my body had become a vessel for pure anguish, and the only relief came from watching everything crumble under my rage.
