Ajax's POV
The moment I push through the door, her scent hits me like a physical blow.
It's Sally, that familiar sweetness that drives me crazy, but there's something different now. Something primal that I've only detected in fleeting moments when female pack members enter their cycles. This is stronger though, more potent, weaving through my senses with an intensity that has my wolf clawing to break free.
Karl has her pressed against the wall, moving inside her with desperate urgency, their mouths locked together. She's trembling with raw need, breathless and wanting. The bond between us pulses with her desire, sending heat racing through my veins and obliterating what's left of my restraint.
Every rational thought tells me to back away. To close the door and give them space, to pretend I didn't hear her cry out my name like she's imagining me in his place. But my feet won't move. My wolf refuses to retreat.
