I was still shooting daggers at Jill, wanting nothing more than to wipe that smug look off her face, when Kevin stormed toward me and seized my arm with violent force.
"Those photos—you already played innocent and slipped away. Don't you dare think about—" His words cut short as my legs suddenly gave way beneath me.
My head was already spinning from the injury, and Draven's earlier shove had only made things worse when I'd smacked my skull again. I'd only dragged myself here because Levi needed me; otherwise, I would've collapsed hours ago.
The wall behind me was the only thing keeping me upright. When Kevin jerked me forward, I lost that support and felt myself crumbling toward the floor.
Kevin's instincts kicked in as he reached to catch me, but someone suddenly clamped down on his wrist and hurled his arm back with brutal force.
