Chapter 1: The End of a Legend
In his past life, he was known by countless names The Phantom Hunter, The Silent Judge, The Shadow Slayer.
But no one ever knew his true name.
He had walked a dark path saving those stolen from their homes, hunting down the slavers and cultists who preyed upon the innocent. He destroyed every organization that thrived on suffering, cutting them down until their empires turned to ash.
He had mastered every art imaginable: swordsmanship, assassination, stealth, ancient and modern magic, spiritual energy, crafting, medicine, even the forbidden arts of soul reinforcement.
There was no one who could challenge him yet he still felt something missing.
As the flames of a burning fortress reflected in his eyes, he whispered:

And fate, cruel and cold, answered.
A flash of headlights tore through the smoke. A car speeding too fast, too close. He didn't move. He smirked.
> "So this is how I go?"
