Chapter 23 - 23

Oh no! No!" Peter ran as fast as he could to Ben Parker's side. Looking at Uncle Ben's bleeding wound, he said helplessly with a look of despair on his face, "It's all my fault! It's all my fault! I clearly had the ability to stop him! It's all my fault!"

Natasha looked at Peter Parker in surprise. She didn't expect that the person she saved was actually this boy's relative?

Natasha looked at the panicked Peter Parker and shouted, "What are you still standing there for? Call for help!"

"Okay, okay!" Peter Parker finally came to his senses, looked at the beautiful Natasha in front of him, and quickly took out his cell phone to call for help.

As an agent, Natasha is very familiar with treating gunshot wounds.

This bullet hit the abdomen. If the bleeding is not stopped, the person will be almost dead by the time he gets to the hospital. Wouldn't all these efforts be in vain?

But what made Natasha depressed was that she had nothing with her and had to use the most primitive method to treat the gunshot wound.

"Go borrow a lighter and a stick, hurry up!" Natasha ordered Peter.

"What?" Peter was a little stunned. What are the uses of these things?

"If you don't want your loved ones to die from excessive blood loss, go quickly!" Natasha shouted.

Peter Parker woke up as if from a dream, and quickly asked for help from the people around him who were watching the commotion. Although they did not dare to stop the robbers, they would naturally not hesitate to help as long as they could.

"Here." Peter handed Natasha what she asked for. Natasha grabbed Peter Parker's sleeve without thinking and tore off half of the sleeve with force.

He wrapped the clothes around the top of the stick and lit it with a lighter before instructing again, "Hold him. This will hurt, but you have to do this if you don't want to bleed to death."

Natasha still explained it so that the little guy would not be unable to accept it.

Place the burning torch directly on Ben Parker's wound.

The heat of the flames burned the wounds and the blood.

In less than half a minute, Ben Parker's wounds were burned together by the torch. Although it was cruel, the bleeding had stopped.

After wrapping the wound with a roll of bandage donated by a kind-hearted person, the first aid for the gunshot wounded was finally completed. Now all we have to do is send Ben Parker to the hospital and wait for the doctor's treatment.

The people around spontaneously applauded Natasha, which was the greatest encouragement to a kind-hearted person.

"Thank you, thank you." Peter kept thanking Natasha. He really didn't know what would have happened without Natasha.

Thinking of the consequences, Peter Parker became more grateful to Natasha.

"You're welcome. I just happen to have this ability." Natasha smoothed her hair and smiled.

Soon, the ambulance arrived and Natasha got on it. Of course, she got on the car at Yang Han's urging. Natasha personally didn't want to go.

"Thank you, Natasha. Peter said that if it weren't for you, Ben would probably be in trouble this time." Aunt May said to Natasha excitedly with tears in her eyes.

"It's okay. This is what I should do." Natasha couldn't stand Aunt May's enthusiasm and said quickly.

Peter was still mumbling and blaming himself. Just now, the police came and showed the three of them a portrait of the murderer. Peter recognized at a glance that the criminal who hurt his uncle was the middle-aged man he had let go.

He clearly had the ability to stop him easily, but because of his own negligence, he let him hurt Uncle Ben. Uncle Ben is now receiving treatment in the operating room. Thinking of this, Peter felt as if his heart was burned by fire.

After the operation, a nurse came out to announce, "Luckily, the bullet missed any internal organs, only hitting the abdomen and avoiding intestinal damage. Because the woman received prompt treatment, she didn't suffer from excessive bleeding. The doctor has already removed the bullet casing. The patient will remain in the intensive care unit tonight. She can be transferred to a regular ward when she wakes up tomorrow."

"Thank God!" Aunt Mei felt much more relaxed after hearing the news.

At this moment, Peter's guilt finally eased a little.

"What do you think of Peter Parker?" Yang Han asked.

"This kid?" Natasha asked after taking a look at Peter. To her, Peter Parker was really a kid.

"That's right. He has just reached adulthood, has spider genes, and has the potential to become a superhero. He is highly malleable. Don't you want to have a team of your own? A team full of superheroes." Yang Han said lightly.

Natasha was a little moved. She looked at Peter Parker frequently and said hesitantly, "Will he agree? I don't think he knows what it means to have such power."

"So, we need you to guide us, right?" Yang Han said with a smile.

Hearing this, Natasha nodded and walked to Peter Parker's side and asked, "What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing." Peter lowered his head, his face full of regret. He said, "I saw that criminal. He was stealing from a convenience store, but I didn't stop him. I clearly had the ability to stop him. If I had caught him, Uncle Ben wouldn't have ended up in the hospital."

Natasha patted Peter's shoulder to comfort him. If Yang Han hadn't suddenly said to chase after him, she might not have chased after him and saved Ben Parker by such a coincidence.

"No one can predict what will happen in the future, so people need to choose every step carefully. If I hadn't chosen to catch up, I'm afraid I wouldn't have saved your uncle by chance. You would only regret it more then. Some things can't be done just because you don't want to. You have to understand that with great power comes great responsibility.

Regret is the most useless emotion. America is so big, and this happens all the time. We can't save everyone or stop all crimes, but we can save those we encounter and catch the criminals we see. Think about it."

Natasha patted Peter Parker's shoulder again and stood up to leave.

I've said everything that can be said, and he has to figure out the rest himself.

"With great power comes great responsibility." Peter looked at his hands. He had long known that he was extraordinary, but he had never used this power in the right way. Now he understood.

Spider-Man, Peter Parker, completed the most important transformation at this moment. Although Ben Parker did not die, the impact of this incident on Spider-Man will only become more and more profound with the passage of time.

Chapter 29: Cloning the Spider's Genes

"Thank you, ma'am. If it weren't for you, I would have lost my uncle forever." Peter came out and bowed again to express his gratitude.

"It's nothing. There are things that someone has to stand up for, like stopping crime. This city has a population of 25 million, and there are so many robberies, homicides and sexual assaults happening in this city every day. So sometimes someone has to stand up and do something, just like your uncle. If someone had stood up and helped him stop the criminal, then I think he might not have been hurt." Natasha shrugged and counseled Peter Parker. In her eyes, Peter Parker was just a child who had not grown up. When encountering such things, it would be better to comfort him as much as possible.

Natasha's words also touched Peter Parker. If someone had helped Uncle Ben at that time, Uncle Ben would definitely not have been hurt.

"Everyone may suffer misfortune, but if misfortune is simply transformed into hatred, it will only lead to more misfortune. Instead of regretting it after it happens, we might as well nip it in the bud before it comes!" Natasha said with a smile, but she was very disgusted in her heart. However, thinking about having a team that would obey her orders in the future, Natasha also patiently enlightened Peter Parker. She didn't want to have a little guy like Peter Parker when she was catching super criminals in the future.

"Thank you, Ms. Natasha, I understand!" Peter nodded vigorously and thanked her again. He now understood what he should do.

"You're welcome." Natasha smiled. She had a good impression of Peter. He was indeed a nice guy.

"It's getting late, I'll leave first." Natasha waved her hand and left the hospital.

She also had to find Daredevil to observe and report some situations to Nick Fury.

As for Yang Han, he had already been transferred to Peter Parker.

Yang Han also felt a sense of crisis in his heart. After all, ever since Tony Stark was kidnapped and escaped, the world began to produce superheroes continuously.

First it was the Hulk, then Daredevil, and now Spider-Man. Judging from the current situation, the story of Dr. Lizard and the Green Goblin is not far away.

It won't be long before the Fantastic Four explore the cosmic storm.

It can be said that the entire Marvel world has entered a stage of continuous emergence of superheroes.

Yang Han didn't care too much and started copying Peter Parker's genetic abilities.

Spider-Man's current abilities have already greatly enhanced Natasha's abilities. The more genes he copies, the more power Natasha enjoys, and she will become more and more dependent on him.
