I stood there in complete shock.
How in the world did Stanley know someone from such an influential family?
If they really had this kind of relationship, my chances of securing this contract had just plummeted to zero.
"What are you doing here, Stanley?" I whispered through gritted teeth.
That son of a bitch turned around with the most infuriating smirk plastered across his face, satisfaction radiating from every pore. "Business, obviously. The difference between us is that I conduct mine with integrity."
"What the hell are you implying? I've never crossed any professional boundaries—"
"Save it." His stare could have frozen hell over. "Everyone knows exactly how you manipulated your way into that manager position."
Justin Muller let out a low whistle. "Hold up, what? This woman actually snatched your management role? Damn, how'd you let that slide, man?"
"Simple. I don't have the right anatomy between my legs."
