Little Lia who was still sitting, sniffled as ahe looked up with her big watery eyes.

Ryu couldn't help but smile softly, patting her head. "I promise," he said gently. "I'll be fine."
Lia's lips curved into a small smile before she finally stood up, clutching her mother's hand.
His father looked at them both, then turned to Ryu once more. "We'll let you rest for now. You can tell us everything later once you feel better."
"Alright," Ryu replied quietly.
His mother leaned down and kissed his forehead lightly. "Sleep well, my dear."
As the three of them stepped out of the room, the door closed softly behind them, leaving Ryu alone once more.
