The defeat of the Bishop Mobile Suit at the hands of the mysterious White Mobile Suit had shaken the foundations of Colonian power. Their newest Mobile Suit, publicized as the most agile and strongest unit, was effortlessly disabled right before the eyes of the whole world.
At the headquarters, the Colonian Kings were shocked, but some also felt driven. They saw Klaus Kimeza's technology—which they thought was obsolete—as a treasure that they must seize. The race began. Immediately, Colonian professors, engineers, and top minds were mobilized to create a unit with power, speed, and weaponry equivalent to the White Mobile Suit.
The Colonian populace who watched the live broadcast were split between awe and fear. Awe because the Mobile Suit's power was extraordinary, but fear because a mysterious entity stronger than them was now operating on Earth.
Meanwhile, among the native Earth rebel teams, spirits were high. The presence of the White Mobile Suit rekindled a long-faded hope. They were determined to find the heroic pilot and invite them to join their resistance.
The next day, Zaki Kimeza and Maki Kimeza arrived at school in a miserable state. The previous night's battle, filled with high adrenaline and intense coordination, had consumed their rest time. Both of them walked to class with sluggish steps.
When the lesson began, Zaki and Maki could only lower their heads. They both fell fast asleep at their desks, utterly exhausted.
"Zaki Kimeza! Maki Kimeza! Wake up!" The Class Teacher's voice boomed, followed by a book tapping on the desk.
All the children in the class, both Colonian and Earth natives, burst into laughter seeing the usually serious twins caught sleeping during the lesson. Zaki and Maki could only straighten themselves up, their faces red with embarrassment.
In the front seat, Aurora Anveil looked at them. She did not laugh along. Her pink eyes were filled with deeper curiosity, as if connecting their exhaustion to the previous night's live broadcast.
When break time arrived, Zaki and Maki immediately fled to their usual hiding spot: the rooftop building. They both collapsed onto the cold concrete floor with relief, trying to catch their breath in silence.
Suddenly, a shadow appeared before them.
"I knew you must be hungry," a soft voice said.
It was Aurora. She stood there, carrying a large, freshly made lunch box.
Maki, though initially surprised, immediately became excited. "Lunch box? For us?"
"I made three servings," Aurora replied with a smile, placing the box on the floor. "I want us to have lunch together."
Zaki, always suspicious and protective, initially remained silent. But Maki's hopeful gaze and the delicious aroma of the food finally made him give in. He sat down and accepted Aurora's offer.
As they began to eat, Aurora initiated the conversation she was looking for. "That White Mobile Suit, right? Last night... the new Colonian unit was utterly defeated. I can't believe the Colonians have a pilot that good. Even though they said the Bishop was the strongest unit."
Maki, as usual, cheerfully responded, "Yeah! The pilot must be someone really great, right? Maybe he's a former Colonian pilot who defected. Who knows!" Maki was careful to give a small lie to divert suspicion from them.
Just as Zaki was about to speak, Aurora suddenly reached out her hand. Her smooth fingers touched Zaki's and Maki's foreheads alternately.
WHOOSH!
It wasn't a physical touch that they felt, but a strong mental energy wave. Zaki and Maki immediately felt the world around them fade. The bright school rooftop turned into a dense purple darkness. They were no longer there, but in a strange place—their subconscious realm.
"Zaki. Maki. I know who you are," Aurora's voice resonated directly in their minds, not through their ears.
She looked at them. Inside this mind space, her pink flower-like eyes shimmered with a purple glow.
"I've had it since birth: Mind Space Communication," Aurora explained. "This power is considered strange and taboo by the Colonians. But I can see the contents of a person's heart when our eyes meet. I know who is truthful and who is lying. And after I looked into your eyes, Zaki, I knew you were an honest person."
"I know you are the pilots of that White Mobile Suit. And I know you are the hope."
"Don't be afraid. I am not truly a Colonian. I need your help to stop this war, to stop the Colonians, and to be myself."
Aurora took a deep breath within that subconscious realm, then revealed a shocking truth.
"I am the daughter of the Colonian King of Venus. My father is one of the Colony rulers. But my mother... my mother was an Earth native, a maid in my father's palace."
She explained that when she was born, the Colonian King of Venus made her a proud princess, which sparked jealousy. The King's two other wives, each of whom had a son, felt threatened.
"They conspired. They accused my mother and me of being traitors and thieves of the royal treasures. My father, he was a coward. He did not defend us. We were abandoned and fled to Earth. We changed our names and disguised ourselves as ordinary Colonian citizens so as not to be sought after and killed by the subordinates of those two wives until this day."
Maki looked at Aurora with eyes full of pity, while Zaki just stared with eyes wide in shock.
"And my Uncle, Professor Armen Itsuki, he couldn't help us. He was too focused on Colonian glory, too focused on his new Mobile Suit, the Bishop, which you unfortunately destroyed," Aurora said, smiling slightly.
Aurora moved closer, the purple aura around her growing stronger.
"The presence of your Mobile Suit is a miracle. I want you to stop the Colonians and restore the rights of the native Earth inhabitants, the same rights, as when my mother and I were still there. I will help you. I can be your eyes in the Colonian world. Please, let me join you," Aurora pleaded, her eyes staring intently into the eyes of the Kimeza twins.
Suddenly, the touch on their foreheads disappeared. Zaki and Maki jolted. They were back on the school rooftop. Their lunch boxes were still there, and Aurora was smiling at them, as if nothing had happened.
"Why are you so quiet? Is the food not good?" Aurora asked.
Zaki and Maki were speechless. They had just received a shattering truth from a Colonian girl who was actually a Colonian Princess, and most importantly, an Earth descendant who could use Mind Space Communication. The White Mobile Suit pilot and the Colonian king's daughter had just formed an unexpected alliance.
