The atmosphere in the Kimeza family's secret base felt serious yet hopeful. Airi Kimeza, Zaki, and Maki sat around a meeting table covered with monitors, facing Augustina Mcgraven, who sat directly across from them, and Mili Anveil, who was connected via a communication screen.
An alliance had been forged. Now was the time to share the dangerous truth.
"As we agreed," Augustina said, her voice calm. Her short blonde hair made her shrewd face look determined. "Anveil Corporation will provide us with supplies for survival. In return, we share the intel we extracted from the Solar Power Plant Sector 4, before the Romeo Blu Gundam destroyed it."
Augustina slid her tablet across the table to Airi. On the tablet screen, diagrams of the Colonian power network and secret command routes were displayed.
"We obtained data on the main power lines for several Colonian bases nearby, and more importantly, we tapped into the command communication lines from headquarters to those facilities," Augustina explained. "Within those command logs, there was a very secret, encrypted report, but we managed to decrypt it. The report mentions a project. They call it Project Grai."
As the name was spoken, silence instantly fell over the room.
Airi Kimeza felt her blood run cold. Her usually calm face turned pale. She grabbed the tablet, her eyes scanning the words on the screen. Grai.
"Grai..." Airi whispered, her voice choked. She remembered that name. It was the name of the Mobile Suit unit piloted by her husband, Klaus Kimeza, the day she was thought he was KIA 15 years ago. Airi had always assumed that unit, like her husband, had been destroyed or at least left to rot as obsolete technology.
"They... they are using that name?" Airi asked, her tone filled with deep shock and anger.
"Yes. We don't know the exact contents, but judging from the report's tone, it is a project to develop a counter-unit to the White Gundam. They are very serious," Augustina replied. "We have provided all the information we gathered there, and there is nothing more we can retrieve from the ruins of the solar plant."
Everyone was silent, contemplating the terrifying implications of Project Grai.
From the monitor screen, Mili Anveil broke the silence. "Thank you, Augustina. This information is vital. Now, Augustina, you mentioned the new blue Mobile Suit that attacked your base. The Romeo Blu Gundam. What are the details of the capabilities you observed?"
Augustina then informed them about the Romeo Blu Gundam and its capabilities during the fight against her group.
Suddenly, the base door opened. Aurora Anveil walked in, carrying a tray filled with freshly baked cookies and tea.
"You all look tense. Have a bite," she said, serving the cookies on the meeting table.
Aurora then noticed the video of the mysterious Colonian unit's battle results playing on the monitor. She stared intently at the video. Her pink eyes shimmered.
"He... he hasn't deployed his full strength yet," Aurora whispered.
Instantly, the whole room was surprised. Maki asked, "What do you mean, Aurora?"
Aurora pointed to the Romeo Blu Gundam's backpack on the screen. "The Mobile Suit's movements while firing, and the particle energy released by its engine... there is a massive power reserve, Maki. Something much stronger than its Beam Rifles. I don't know what it is, but I sense extreme danger. Through my Mind Space sense, I can feel the potential for destruction from that unit. If that Colonian unit uses its full power, it will be incredibly dangerous."
Zaki nodded, realizing that Aurora's Mind Space Communication had detected something that ordinary sensors could not see.
Mili Anveil, the financier, immediately made a decision. "Alright. This is no longer about balance; it's about defense. We must arm the White Gundam to be capable of fighting a modern unit like the Romeo Blu. We will immediately send a new weapon for the White Gundam."
"What weapon?" Zaki asked curiously.
"According to your needs," Mili answered mysteriously. "We will send it before dawn tomorrow. Fortunately, tomorrow is Saturday, and your school is closed. This gives you time to conduct the operation."
Everyone in the room agreed. Airi would oversee the operation from the base, Augustina would provide long-range backup with her remaining Pioneer Mobile Suits and heavy bazookas, and the Kimeza twins would fight the new Colonian threat.
Time flew quickly. Before dawn on Saturday, a large container with the faint logo of the Anveil Corporation arrived at the secret base.
The former Earth Federation mechanics under Airi's command, and some mechanics from Augustina Mcgraven's group, immediately opened the container. Inside, lay an astonishing weapon: a Beam Sub Machine Gun. The weapon was sleek, white and blue, designed for close-combat, possessed high accuracy, and most importantly, was very lightweight, allowing the White Gundam to maintain its agility.
Without wasting time, Zaki immediately piloted the White Gundam. With its large hand, the White Gundam released its old Beam Rifle, then picked up the new Beam Sub Machine Gun.
In the cockpit, AIRIS—Zaki and Maki's twin AI—immediately input the new weapon's data. "Beam Sub Machine Gun: High Accuracy, Fast Firing Rate, Effective Energy Use. White Gundam's new weapon is ready for deployment."
Meanwhile, Airi and her personal mechanic team used the time to readjust several Pioneer units belonging to Augustina's group.
"I know the ins and outs of this Pioneer Mobile Suit, Augustina," Airi explained, her hands working quickly on the control panel. "Klaus and I designed the basis of it. With a few adjustments to the generator and joints, they will be slightly more flexible and easier for your pilots to control."
After preparations were complete, exactly at 8 AM, the White Gundam was ready for battle. Zaki and Maki flew towards a sparsely populated location: a vast, open orange rocky wasteland.
They waited in the barren stone field.
"Maki, any movement?" Zaki asked, his hand gripping the cockpit joystick.
Maki looked at the screen. "Zaki! Object in the air, very fast! Hovering above us!"
Zaki didn't wait any longer. With a sudden maneuver, the White Gundam darted into the air, its thrusters roaring. Zaki immediately fired the new Beam Sub Machine Gun. Continuous energy beams split the sky.
The object, which turned out to be the Romeo Blu Gundam, quickly evaded.
"How dare that Kimeza trash attack first!" Wars Stinger growled in his cockpit.
The Romeo Blu Gundam immediately retaliated, firing its two Beam Rifles. Zaki moved the White Gundam for a quick maneuver.
Finally, the two equally modern Mobile Suits, which were a nightmare for the Colonians and a hope for Earth, faced each other in the Neo-Veridia sky.
Inside the Romeo Blu, Wars Stinger laughed with pleasure. "You finally came, White Mobile Suit! My true enemy has arrived!"
