Woojin stepped out of the cab and entered the gate. He ran straight to the door, forgetting to close the gate behind him. He stopped in front of it, closed his eyes for a few seconds, and let out a short laugh.
"Yup. He's trying to escape again."
He unlocked the door with his key and pushed it open wide. Panicked sounds reached his ears immediately. Jungtae's voice.
Woojin glanced toward his aunt's room. He dropped the grocery bags to the floor and shut the door behind him without locking it. Then he ran.
Jungtae was almost halfway out the window when Woojin reached the room.
Woojin clenched his teeth and rushed forward, grabbing Jungtae's legs and pulling hard.
"No!" Jungtae shouted, kicking wildly.
"Let me go, Woojin!"
Woojin's eyes flicked to the cuts on Jungtae's shoulders and waist, scraped by the broken glass on the window frame. His expression hardened.
With a strong pull, he dragged Jungtae back inside. They both lost balance and stumbled onto the floor.
