The sound of the system notification popped up as the woman screams ended.

Seems like everyone from inside to the woman outside could see it. Her facial expression said it all.
Thanks to her scream, most of the people around was looking at her now. She screamed again but this time, nobody could hear her.
She banged on the red tinted barrier, desperately trying to get inside.
"Mom!"
A kid came running, his face soaked in tears, I held him back. Looking at him, he's about 10 years old. Judging from the cry, the woman outside is his mother.
I don't think I've seen anything about registration time limit for each games. I don't see penalties either if I remembered correctly.
"Can someone get this kid away from here for a while? It's not safe for a child to be here near the border."
"I can."
Mary spoke up, walking over to me, smiling. She spoke gently to the kid and took his tiny hand. I can sense an overwhelming amount of power coming from her… I knew she was off, I just got to figure out in which way is she weird, or at least figure out if she's a threat or not.
I sighed, I don't have any choices either, I handed over the kid and lookedat the woman outside, I mouthed out a few words before turning my back and walked away.
We all know exiting the border is not allowed. wait, the first game… The border was already set up yet I still got in, strange.
"Mommy! Please, I'm scared…"
The kid cried out as he was being taken away by Mary. The mother banging also stopped, she looked at her kid, holding back tears and smiled.
She turned her back and tried running away, it was too late. As she turned around, her body started to inflate, her veins were shown clearly, she looked like a soon to explode balloon.
Out of all the times, they chose to kill a mother in front of her kid. This didgusting game. I clenched my fist, looking away as the woman exploded.
She died just like how the old man did. Parts of her scattered all over. I looked at Chin-hae who was standing closer to the border than I was, his head turned to me, he was horrified, who wouldn't be?
I must be insane to not be scared at a scene like this. I stared blankly at the woman's body before shaking my head.
Let's see… from what I've seen, you can only enter a game arena in a certain amount of time, if you come to the game late, it will be considered as not participating and you'll pay the penalty.
I looked over to the little boy that was with Mary, he was shocked, his face pale like paper. Meanwhile, the psychopath lady was just snickering at the fact she just witnessed a child seeing his mother death infront of his eyes. What a weirdo…
"Gather around, participants!"
I turned my head to where the sound was, the dokkaebi was speaking. This one wasn't the same dokkaebi I saw. I glanced at Chin-hae, reaching out my hand for him to grab.
His shaky hand held on to mine as we walked closer to the area of the dokkaebi, we followed the crowd. My eyes looking for the little boy.
I'm sure he'll be fine knowing who he's with yet I'm still a little anxious. He's not even my kid to start with, he's still an innocent soul stuck into this mess and partially it's probably because I don't trust Mary. I'll be the one to protect him after this…
「All-seeing eye activated!」
The rush of energy ran throughout my whole body, the same feeling that I had when I first turned it on. But this time it felt a bit weird.
「Skill activation time had been decreased due to your physical state!」
Ah, I should've known anyways… When we arrived to where the dokkaebi was, my eyes widened. I didn't expect this much people. It's a good thing there's a lot of survivors.
There were around 300 participants that survived the first games placed all over Korea and possibly other countries.
Seems like this dokkaebi wasn't so careless like the other one that was coding the game right in front of every players… my all-seeing eye can't detect anything.
Except for one thing. I didn't have much time for this skill so I'll use it for a bit then turn it off and save it for a bit later…

I should've known, a skill that gives you the ability to see hidden items as well as search for information is too strong, there's no way a skill so useful like this is able to use little energy after all.
I guess I just have to watch the dokkaebi talk for this one. I sighed, letting go of Chin-hae's hand and concentrated on the dokkaebi.
"Listen carefully alright? I won't repeat it twice."
The dokkaebi stopped for a short moment before continuing its speech. As the creature begin, more sparks of light came out of no where, then one after another, a total of 5 dokkaebis appeared.
"As you can see, there's multiple of us here."
The dokkaebis snickered then all went silent for a second. I looked at them in shock, what kind of nightmare am I experiencing now?

Great timing… The excessive amount of information flooded my head, causing my body to weaken. I can feel my nose bleeding.
"Damn it…"
I whispered, wiping away the blood. I sat weakly on the ground, taking in the information about Juhyun. Thanks to this one dokkaebi, I was able to get a bit of information about the others too…
"Gyungho hyung! Are you okay?"
Chin-hae kneeled down, checking on me. I thought I was going to go insane. I can feel my head spinning.

I'm starting to get it, this world, the games… Slightly at least. There's still something I'm missing, I can't tell what it is. It feels almost right to be in a world like this.

I missed what the dokkaebi said when I was lost in my thoughts didn't I? I chuckled slightly. Maybe I'll lose my mind soon. I wonder what that Mary is up to now.
