Chapter 39 - Chapter 39 Arrival at Paradise Island, Identity

"I remember now." Diana suddenly opened her beautiful eyes, reminding him out of nowhere, "Vincent, get ready!"

"Ready? Ready for what?"

Vincent turned to look at Aunt Diana, realizing that the one-shoulder, slit white dress she was wearing had transformed into a battle-ready red armored skirt, with a war shield and silver sword weapon on her back. The crown on her forehead and the bracelets on her wrists gleamed dazzlingly in the sunlight.

"Aunt Diana, you look like this…" Vincent turned back in surprise, his hurried voice quickly stopping.

The many tourists on the deck were still sightseeing and socializing; not a single person cast a glance at the transformed Aunt Diana, as if in their eyes, she no longer existed on the deck.

"Don't worry, they can't see us." As Diana spoke, she had already reached out and directly picked up Vincent. She raised the golden lasso in her right hand, her body slightly squatting into a power-gathering stance.

Vincent realized what Aunt Diana was about to do and couldn't help but exclaim, "Wait a minute! I'm not mentally prepared yet!"

Before Vincent could finish his sentence, Diana had already leaped decisively, soaring dozens of meters beyond the cruise ship.

As the two were about to land on the sea surface, Diana swung the raised golden rope forward, lassoing the crest of a distant wave, using the momentum to pull herself, and once again leaping high into the forward sea!

It looked as if they were speeding across the sea, fiercely kicking up a trail of spray and ripples.

"Look! What's that?"

The tourists on the deck all looked towards the sea in front of the cruise ship. They could only see a straight white trail, mistakenly thinking it was some kind of marine creature like a tuna, watching the white water arrow rapidly disappear at the edge of the Aegean Sea… Diana was like a human fighter jet in a low-altitude dive over the sea. Vincent, in her arms, pulled out a pair of wind-resistant goggles from his pocket and put them on, only then able to open his eyes against the powerful hurricane rushing towards them.

The ocean visibly receded on both sides of their bodies, and soon the yacht was left far behind, eventually disappearing from view. Above the vast ocean, only Diana and Vincent were diving and soaring.

Just like that.

They advanced, perhaps ten kilometers, or hundreds of kilometers, towards an unknown destination.

Until—

With a "pop," Diana and Vincent passed through an invisible barrier.

Vincent's eyes widened; what had been an endless deep blue sea suddenly transformed into a clear, slightly shallower, azure sea!

Amidst a formation of large reefs, standing guard like soldiers, magnificent archipelagos sat in the deepest part of this sea. The largest and most central island was surrounded by golden, flowing sand-like beaches, with internal mountain ranges, and upon the peaks and cliffs sat numerous white temples and sanctum buildings in the style of ancient Greek architecture!

Large waterfalls, like ornate crowns, adorned the mountain peaks, cascading down with majestic force, forming an extremely dazzling rainbow halo!

Without Aunt Diana's explanation, Vincent knew with just one glance.

This was the lingering land of the old Greek gods, isolated from the human world, a dreamlike paradise island free from worldly strife!

Paradise Island!

…On the beach where Paradise Island met the open sea.

A group of fierce female warriors, clad in ancient Greek-style leather armor and battle-gear, armed with bows and arrows, metal spears, and other cold weapons, watched the unknown entity rapidly approaching in a water-arrow trajectory in the nearshore. They all raised their shields, drew their great bows, and pointed their cold, sharp spear and sword tips outwards, ready for battle!

The General Antiope leading them sat on a strong black horse, holding a silver longsword, her face resolute and stern, her exposed muscles bronzed, possessing a domineering and murderous aura far surpassing most males!

Just as the Amazonians were about to attack the intruder.

The General Antiope, looking at the approaching intruder, suddenly trembled all over and exclaimed loudly, "Everyone, put down your weapons!"

"General?" "This…"

The female warriors were puzzled, but they still obeyed the command and put away their weapons.

Clatter!

One intruder, no, it should be two intruders, arrived on the beach of Paradise Island from the outer sea at an extremely fast speed.

Seeing the warrior woman wearing the unique Amazonian royal crown among them, the Amazonian female warriors on the scene were stunned, and then collectively and excitedly placed their hands on their chests, kneeling on one knee to show their loyalty and support—

"Your Highness!"

"Your Highness Diana, is that you?" The General Antiope dismounted from her black horse, her entire body trembling as she spoke in disbelief.

Diana put down Vincent from her embrace, also unable to hide her joy as she quickly stepped forward: "Yes, Antiope, Aunt. I have returned."

The two embraced tightly.

Vincent smiled, very sensibly staying to the side, not disturbing Aunt Diana's reunion with her family.

Antiope's previously stern face was now full of smiles. Patting Diana's back, she said excitedly, "Good, good, it's good you're back! Your mother, and all the Amazonians, have been eagerly awaiting your return!"

"Mother, is she doing well?" Diana asked softly.

"Very well, but she misses you greatly." Antiope smiled and urged, "Quickly come back to the palace with me, let your mother and our people see you!"

"Antiope, wait a moment." Diana shook her head.

At this moment, the Amazonians on the scene had already turned their gazes, one after another, to Vincent behind Diana.

"A human?"

Many female warriors instinctively showed sharp eyes of rejection and hostility.

"Your Highness Diana." Antiope looked at Vincent nearby, her face returning to its previous serious indifference: "You should know that Paradise Island does not allow outsiders to set foot. Moreover, a male human!"

Antiope then said to Vincent, "Who are you?"

"I, I am…" Vincent hesitated. Facing General Antiope and the group of fierce and stern Amazonian female warriors, he suddenly didn't know how to state his identity.

The most appropriate, should be Diana's—adopted son?

In fact, Vincent had always instinctively rejected the identity of an adopted son, so from childhood, he called Diana Aunt Diana, and Diana tacitly agreed to this address.

However, if he didn't use the identity of an adopted son now, if he didn't claim to be Diana's family, it was clear that he wouldn't pass the Amazonians' scrutiny.

Just as Vincent was hesitating, Diana stepped forward.

Diana said no words of explanation, her exquisite and beautiful face remaining calm. She stood close in front of Vincent, suddenly raising her hands and removing the crown that symbolized her identity.

"Your Highness Diana, what are you trying to do?!"

Antiope seemed to realize something and couldn't help but exclaim in surprise.

Ignoring Antiope's words of deterrence, Diana smiled slightly, and under the shocked gazes of the Amazonian female warriors, she placed her silver crown on Vincent's head.

Vincent blinked, unable to understand what this meant.
