I have just called for Kali and Vert for a meeting, and as I wait for them, I sit on my throne and just... think. I need to keep the momentum up now, now that the others will be wary of me and my actions, likely preparing counter-measures. Most of Hell at this point will know what happened. Our fight was not exactly quiet.
My next steps after Vert, were to strike while the iron was hot and take Bleu for myself too, if I am being honest, the reason I wanted Bleu was, yes partly to weaken Rouge in the future, while more importantly, even though she was seen as lazy and hated working, a stark contrast to Vert in this regard, she was someone who did exactly what she was told to the letter, and exploited rules and loopholes to the benefit of her master. Someone like her may seem with my knowledge of their characters, not beneficial, although in my opinion that is just surface level, what is underneath is very much worth it.
I stare seemingly into nothing, as I suddenly feel a fluctuation in the air, I do not react, I knew this day would come, I just did not think it would be this soon. I guess I am really changing a lot of the future with my actions.
"Noir, what can I do for you?" I say blankly as I still stare off into seemingly nothing in the opposite direction to him. I can feel him still standing there, then he lets out a low chuckle "You, Gris, are a fascinating being. Ever since I was born, I have had this insatiable desire to learn and experience everything that is new and different in this world. A few centuries on, and Hell has essentially for the most part, done its job in feeding that hunger for learning and discovery. But you, the moves you are making, I can tell they are a part of a bigger picture. A picture I want to see, I want to see what you will do. Going against Rouge, and plotting for years like you can see the future, I want to know more."
I nod lightly, as I turn my head slightly and side eye him, he still looks just like he was in the novels, well, expect for the lack of a butler attire. Black medium length hair with streaks of red and gold, as well as golden eyes with red pupils and black sclera. I think of how I want to proceed for a second, as this was something that I did not expect would happen, a first for everything I suppose. "Noir, so, from what you said it seems you chose your side in this confrontation? It is obvious to someone as observant and... quirky, as you to have an idea of my plans?" I raise my eyebrow as I then continue on, reeling him in and feeding his curiosity "Otherwise, what was the reason for coming to see me today?" He chuckles low again, and then says in a relaxed manner "Oh, the visit today was an appetizer, I wanted to see the enigmatic and emotionally detached rival of the King of Hell himself, in person, to make sure that the rumours were correct and... to see if my assumptions about you were also right. I have satisfied myself... for now."
I look at him directly now, and using my Eyes of Darkness, and one of their passive effects to instil fear in those weaker, even though at this point I do not know if Noir is as powerful as me, however, from his reaction, which was a slight shudder, I am not sure if he is fearful or... something else. I remove this useless thought from my mind before replying sternly "Noir, I am not someone you can just come visit to satiate your desire for entertainment, or knowledge. Do not test my already limited patience." He nods lightly, then does a slight bow before walking back to the window behind him, "Of course, Gris, I would never think to do that." He said in a playful manner "I am just a mere observer, trying to, hmm" He then puts a finger on his chin before continuing "understand that 'bigger picture' fully before I commit myself willingly to your schemes." I look away and leave him with one more 'carrot on the stick' to lure him voluntarily to me in the future "Well, lets just say, my plans do not stop at Hell and Rouge..." Even though I am not looking at him, its like I can feel the smile stretching itself across his face, before I sense him disappear out of the throne room.
Very good, it seems unexpectedly some of my plans can be moved up after this... as I was ruminating and quickly thinking of how to take advantage of Noirs sudden visit, the large double doors in front of me open and in walk two strikingly beautiful women, in maid attires, slowly approaching me with grace. Yes, Vert decided since she learned that Kali gained a maid attire after I named her, that it must be something I 'subconsciously desire' and she wants to fulfil any desire I may have, to further show her devotion. Whatever that means, I scoffed.
Once they reached the steps of my throne, they both fell onto one knee and said in unison "Your servants have heeded your call, master." I nodded lightly as I looked down at them, there is that feeling again, I thought, it is the only time other than battle when I feel something. I shook my head and dispelled those thoughts, before I addressed them. "Rise." They both did as I said, and then I got straight to the point of this summons "Vert, I want you to use your descendants and start an organisation dedicated to gathering information in Hell, Kali can support you with anything you may need in carrying out this task." Vert, bows low with a reserved expression "Yes, master I will ensure this is done to the best of my ability." I notice Kali's face that looks like she bit into something sourer and say to her "Kali, you will ensure that Verts needs are met with this task, remember, she is your leader, I expect you to get along, I know when it comes to fulfilling your duties to me you will not allow personal reasons to get in the way of serving my interests, correct?" She quickly bows and almost shouts "Of course master! I would never fail you!" I nod in satisfaction, it seems like she is still as fiercely loyal as always, even if since Vert joined, she has been acting unlike herself when around her. "Good, now go, both of you, the next few years is about to get busy... and interesting.
