Lu Jingyan's car drove into the mansion as the guard came to open the car door as she alighted. She rang the door bell and a maid opened the door for her
"Welcome home young missus" the maid said
"Thanks" Lu Jingyan said.
Young missus? She can never get along with that name never.
"You are back" the old woman voice brought her back from her thinking land
"Hello madam Leng" Lu Jingyan said as the old woman showed her displeasure
"I will let you off today. But don't call me madam Leng ever again. Or else they would be a problem" the old woman said
"Sorry. Leng partriach" Lu Jingyan said
"I think Grandma wants you to call her Grandma like we used to do" Leng Yumo said with her mouth full of sweets
"Yumo" the older woman called. Yumo knew what her grandmother was trying to say and she spit out the sweet in her mouth and threw it into the trash bin
"Sister in law. Granny cold wants you to call her Grandma like the rest if us. Even Xinyan has started calling her Grandma" Leng Yumo said
"Oh. Sorry, Grandma" Lu Jingyan said as the woman nod in satisfaction. She didn't smile but she is indeed happy.
"How is your father?" The old woman asked and Lu Jingyan face crestfallen
"No response. Just there" she said
"No worries. I am sure you father is going to be fine and soon we will find the person who did it" the old woman said
Lu Jingyan nodded "I know"
"Dinner is ready. Go take a shower and come down to eat" Leng Yumo said
"Alright" Lu Jingyan said and walked into her room
"Should we tell her that brother is back?" Leng Yumo asked
"No. Let her find out herself" madam Leng said as she helped into the dining room to have her own dinner.
Lu Jingyan walked into her room and went straight into the bathroom she took her bath and changed into comfy outfits and walked out of the room.
"Sister in law" Leng Yumo called as she stepped into the dining room and she met another pair of eyes and she instantly knew who the eyes belonged to. *Leng Meixuan*
"You are back?" Lu Jingyan said
"What is the problem? You don't want me back? Meixuan asked
"Why won't I want you to be back? After all this is your house" Lu Jingyan said as she took her seats
"You are right. This is my house and not yours. So, you can never asked me out of this house but the vice versa I can" Leng Meixuan said
"You are right. The vice versa you can. But do you have the veto power to send me out of this house?" Lu Jingyan asked
"Veto power? Grandma has two children. My father and uncle and they each had two children, my brother, brother Xuanmo, me and Leng Yumo. With just two girls what did you think?" Leng Meixuan asked
"So after all, you are just extended family" Lu Jingyan said.
Leng Yumo smiled as she heard what her sister in law said and looked at Leng Meixuan. *You've finally seen your mate* she thought
"Extended family? But without the extended family who can accept you into the Leng family?" She asked
"You are right" Lu Jingyan said
"But, are you the grandma? The father? The mother? The sister? Or the husband?" Lu Jingyan asked
"After all. No one would even remember to ask for your blessings cause you are irrelevant" Lu Jingyan said
"You—"
"That's enough" madam Leng said as Leng Meixuan glared Lu Jingyan who didn't even bother to bat an eye
