Lu Jingyan stayed in her room even after she had been awake for almost thirty minutes she didn't bother to leave the he bed and face anyone that morning. She isn't on the mood to face anyone especially Leng Meixuan and her tantrums.

The knock came. She knew who it was but she didn't dare leave the room it she thought of everything that has been happening in her life and it's already a week since she moved into the Leng manor with her Younger brother and now they are already preparing to send him to school.
The school where no one would accept him even she knew the way Leng Yumo was
Three years ago, the sun filtered softly through the towering trees that lined the prestigious courtyard of Qinyan international Academy. Laughter echoed in the distance, blending with the rustle of uniforms and the occasional slam of lockers.
Lu Jingyan, then still wrapped in the warmth of her family's high status, arrived in the school rounded a quiet corridor on her way to the library to see the librarian to hand somethings to him. Her steps slowed when she heard a scuffle ahead—sharp voices, sneers, and a faint whimpering.
She stopped just before the corner, peeking around cautiously.
There, near the water fountain, a boy knelt with his books scattered. His glasses had fallen, and dirt smudged his face. Surrounding him were three girls from the elite class—dressed immaculately, their laughter sharp and cruel.
And in the middle of them, Leng Yumo stood. Her arms were folded, eyes cold, one eyebrow raised like she was bored. She didn't speak much—she didn't need to. A single glance from her directed the mockery. The others obeyed. One girl kicked the boy's notebook across the pavement while another tugged at his worn bag.
Lu Jingyan stood frozen. She had never seen Leng Yumo like this. Beautiful, confident—and merciless.
She clenched her fists, but said nothing.
She walked away.
Lu Jingyan sighed as she remembered what happened three years ago and she feared for her brother
"Sister in law" Leng Yumo voice came from behind the door.
"Are you still asleep?" She asked again but Leng Yumo didn't get any replies she reluctantly went back to her grandma in the garden
"Grandma. Sister in law isn't opening the door and isn't replying" Yumo said as she stepped behind her grandma to give a massage
"Butler Lei" madam Leng called
"Yes ma'am?" He answered
"Can you help me check up on Lu Jingyan? Check if she is in her room or went to her father in the hospital" the older woman said
"Yes ma'am" the butler replied
"She's just a daughter-in-law yet acting like the owner and make everyone worry about her" Leng Meixuan said walking into the garden
"Meixuan" madam Leng called
"Grandma. We need to speak the truth. The last week she has been here everyone has been in her beck and call. So infuriating one day I am sure sbe would be the one to control the whole leng or maybe one day be the one to ruin the Lengs" Leng Meixuan said
"If the Lengs get ruined. Meixuan it's all you. You are the one who ruined the Lengs" Leng Yumo said
"Yumo. You aren't usually like this you hate people like that. So why are?"
"Shut up" madam Leng said
"Grandma"
"It looks like you didn't have enough of the frost vault the last time. I can always ask them to send you back and you should have to yiur heart content" madam Leng said
"Grandma"
"Just shut up" madam Leng said
