Lu Jingyan sat in her father's ward with Mei Xiaotong laughing her butt out after explaning what happened.
"I don't understand what is funny. Everything I said is not funny" Lu Jingyan said
"Yan Yan. To you it might not be funny but to it really is funny"
"I just don't like the fact that she bully my younger brother earlier. So I had to take revenge" Lu Jingyan said
"Now you know the meaning of standing up to yourself Mrs. Leng" Mei Xiaotong said
"Shut up" Lu Jingyan said
"So when will you go register your marriage?" Mei Xiaotong asked
"He said he had business to take care of. In a week or two" Lu Jingyan said
"In a week or two? We should get ready before then" Mei Xiaotong said. Lu Jingyan looked at her best friend as she shook her head
"Baby. I really want to stay for long. But my parents" Mei Xiaotong said. Lu Jingyan knew Mei Xiaotong parents didn't want Mei Xiaotong to do anything with her again. Ever since the incident that happened to her family everyone has drawn the line between them and Mei Xiaotong's parents were not left out.

Lu Jingyan walked to her father's bed and sat beside him. She held his hand and looked at his pale face with an oxygen mask attached to it
"Sister in law" Leng Yumo called. Lu Jingyan looked back and saw Leng Xuanmo and Lu Jingyan standing behind her
"When did you get here?" She asked them
"Just now" he replied

"Sister in law. We are ready to go home. We thought maybe you'd need a lift home" Leng Yumo said
"We don't have a home" Lu Xinyan said sitting up from the couch
"You don't have a home? So where did you sleep?" Leng Yumo asked
"In the hospital room" Lu Jingyan said

"Xinyan why don't you follow Momo to get an ice cream?" Jingyan said
"Alright" he said as they all leave

"I don't want to inconvenience you with my problems. It's already enough shifting my father to the VIP ward and already paying for his treatment. Also getting married to me and me moving in with you is going to inconvenience you" she said
