Chapter 8 Part 3: A New Party Member

As she bowed, they bounced twice.

A few dozen vicious men with blades had surrounded them wolfish eyes roaming over Luca and Amy's graceful figures.
Some swallowed hard.
A scarred leader glared at Lu Fei.
"Boys go! Kill that pretty boy! The women first dibs to me the rest for you!"
"Charge!"
"Go!"
Like they'd been injected with chicken blood, the bandits rushed in.
Luca and Amy instinctively ran behind Lu Fei peeking out from either shoulder.
Lu Fei sighed.
Why force me to kill?
He drew his wand and pointed at the bandits.
Bang!
Several bandits were caught in an explosion instantly torn apart.
The horrific scene drained the color from the bandits' faces.
They skidded to a halt, trembling in fear.
Lu Fei didn't stop.
The slender wand in his hand became a reaper's baton.
Whomever it pointed at blew up.
Seconds ticked by pop pop pop pop one after another, bandits exploded into gore.
Explosion magic terrifying as ever.
Behind him, Luca's eyes went round. "What magic is that? So powerful!"
Master I want to learn!
"Retreat he's tough! Run!"
The leader fled.
The rest followed suit.
Lu Fei didn't chase.
He only waited until they'd run about a hundred meters then flicked his wand.
Rumble!
A mushroom cloud tens of meters tall blossomed where the bandits fled.
Luca's jaw fell open.
Was this power possible for magic?
Was her convenient "master" a legendary level-9 or level-10 adventurer?
