Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Chaos At Break

Monday came with that weird calm energy nobody could explain 😶‍🌫️. The assembly ground was already buzzing with noise, laughter, and random gist flying around but something was different today. Everyone came early. Even the teachers were surprised.

Then boom 💥 the Rich Demons walked into laboratory for Biology: quiet, composed, faces blank like they didn't even care who noticed them. No noise, no drama, no showing off, nothing. Just silence. And that was what confused everyone the most 😭. The whole school expected the usual rich kid energy; loud, proud, and full of gist but these ones acted like they were in their own world.

Nobody dared to ask questions though. They just watched, whispered, and stared. It was giving mystery vibes 😩.

By break time, the school turned lively again. Music from someone's speaker, snacks everywhere, couples walking hand in hand, and small gossips floating in corners. But for the seniors elite students, break time wasn't play time ... it was study time 📚✨.

Inside the library — calm, chilled, smelling like old books and quiet AC breeze, the five of them sat together. Each with their own books open, pens moving, eyes focused. You'd think they were prepping for university exams 😭.

No one spoke. No one laughed. Just the sound of pages turning, pens scribbling, and a few students passing by to sneak a glance at them 👀.

Gift sat near the window, sunlight kissing her mixed skin softly while she highlighted her notes. MideFlex leaned back with his headphones on, pretending to read but probably thinking about something deep 😮‍💨. AraBaddie was focused, flipping through her chemistry notebook, while BigDave and Lolade exchanged short glances like they already understood each other's minds.

For the first time since they arrived, they looked... normal. No chaos, no drama, just brains and silence. But everyone knew this peace wouldn't last forever 😈.

Wahala was just warming up.🙊🔥

"Oh my God! Will you guys be unserious for once?" MideFlex finally broke the silence.

"What do you want now?" Gift dropped her pen and looked at him.

"Are you kidding me? What a boring study group! We read together, not individually!" MideFlex complained, clearly frustrated.

"So you want to keep walking around for the rest of break time? Spare me," AraBaddie said, rolling her eyes.

"Can't we just discuss something at least?" BigDave added, backing MideFlex up.

"How about the chemistry test coming up this Friday?" Lolade suggested. "Let's read together, you know... it'll help the brain and us."

"What? There's a test on Friday? Am I the only one that doesn't know?" MideFlex shouted, sitting up straight.

"Are you for real? Mrs. Denis didn't mention anything to me," Gift said in shock.

"She didn't say I should tell anyone. I just told you guys for now," Lolade replied calmly.

MideFlex immediately opened his phone to drop the news on the class group chat that there'd be a short test on Friday. But before he could type, a new message popped up "Chaos in the class! Lizzy and Diana are fighting!!!" 😳🔥

"Guyyyyyys—" MideFlex stammered, staring at his phone. "Check your phones and let's go to the class!" He stood up in a rush and ran off, the rest of the group following behind.

They got to class and the sight was wild. Desks scattered, books on the floor, Diana and Lizzy standing opposite each other, both looking wounded and furious 😡.

BigDave, being the senior boy, immediately stepped forward.

"What the fudge are you guys doing during break?" he shouted, glaring at both of them. Then he turned to Lizzy. "Can you just create peace for once on your first day in our school?" His eyes shifted to Diana. "And you, must you always fall into trouble too, eh?"

Juniors were already running up from other classes to see the noise, but the prefects at the lounge door blocked them, sending them back down immediately. The air was thick with tension.

Just then, Zad walked in, adjusting his shirt like he'd just returned from the restroom.

"What's going on here?" he asked calmly, scanning the chaos.

"I'd like to know too," BigDave replied, arms crossed, while the entire class began shouting in unison, voices clashing.

KayPrime, the class captain, entered next, arms filled with assignment books. He stopped dead at the scene; the two girls, disheveled and glaring.

"What's going on here?" he demanded.

"It was Lizzy o, she first slapped Diana!" a voice shouted from the crowd.

The class erupted in noisy agreement.

"I came in and saw a used chewing gum on my table," Diana said, breathing hard, her voice trembling with anger. "It was placed there disgustingly, and I asked who did it ... nobody answered. Then Lizzy turned to me and offered me a new chewing gum. Tell me, what do you think I'll think first?"

"I offered you doesn't mean I did it!" Lizzy snapped back.

"You disgusting little pig! You're still denying it after slapping me?" Diana shouted, and the whole class gasped. The insult was loud, sharp, and echoing.

Diana's voice rose. "We have CCTV here for a reason. If I find out you did such a thing—"

"What will you do?" Lizzy cut in, smirking.

"Seems like you don't know the school you're in," Diana hissed. "We expel like nothing here. You'll be expelled and I'll sue you for sure!"

"Try your best," Lizzy said with a cold smile, her tone dripping with pride.

AraBaddie stepped forward, her eyes sharp. "Did you do it?"

The class went silent instantly. Everyone knew whenever Ara stepped in, something serious was about to go down 😬.

Lizzy looked at her and chuckled, recognizing her. "Ara? You?" She scoffed. "You've upgraded your fashion. Last time I checked, you were messed up."

The class gasped again.

Ara moved closer, her voice low but dangerous. "That was last time, Lizabeth. I'm asking you for the last time if you don't want to be expelled on your first day, did you do it? Admit and accept your punishment."

"Yh, I did it," Lizzy said with a lazy grin. "I'm a Rich Demon. I was possessed."

The class went dead silent.

"Apologize!" BigDave ordered, anger visible in his tone.

"Why will I? I just told her to dump it for me," Lizzy replied, rolling her eyes.

Everyone froze and shocked.

"Elizabeth," Lolade said, stepping forward with authority. "If you love yourself, quietly follow me to the principal's office before things get worse."

"You're very stupid," Lizzy sneered. "My name is Lizzy not Elizabeth, dummy." She gave a weird smile. "And if I were you, I'd be careful... before you lose that Senior Girl position to me."

The class gasped again because the disrespect was insane 😳.

"Are you normal? Enough is enough! Do you think this is a playground—" MideFlex snapped angrily.

"Yes, it is," Lizzy interrupted with a smirk. "It's a rollercoaster, baby!"

"Ewwwwww!" some students murmured, disgusted.

"Enough!" a strong voice thundered,it was Zad. Everyone turned immediately.

"Why did you do it?" he asked, staring straight into Lizzy's eyes.

"Because I wanted to," she said, unfazed. "I'm not some gentle girl, Zad."

"You should've done it on Day 10, not Day 1," Zad replied coldly.

The class went silent again. His tone carried weight.

Oscar raised his hand. "I don't even know why we're wasting time. Let's just report her to the principal!"

The class chorused in agreement.

"You want to report me? On Day 1?" Lizzy laughed bitterly. "Why not relax — I'll take you all one by one, So I can't be free in my own class? I know y'all are keeping malices with your blind eyes."

"Try all you can," MideFlex fired back. "Diana will be your last victim!"

Lizzy smirked. "Do you have a girlfriend? Maybe I should be your first... so I can pump sense into your head."

The class went silent. Then... GBAM! 💥

Lolade's hand met Lizzy's cheek.

"You don't insult a Sports Prefect like that in front of everyone," Lolade said, trembling with anger. "You've disrespected authority and violated the code of conduct—"

"Shut—" Lizzy began, but stopped as the door creaked open.

Mrs. Denis, the chemistry teacher, walked in, her heels clicking against the floor.

"Kayode," she said sharply. "Why is their assignment still on the desk?"

"Ma?" KayPrime answered.

Her eyes scanned the room, then froze on the two girls, the scattered desks, and the entire class standing in tense silence.

Her voice dropped.

"What is going on here?"

Gen gen... 😬
