It was Friday morning and the air in AllStars Foundation College felt heavy
No one had heard from the three girls: Diana, Lizzy and Lolade 😶
Whispers moved around like wind in the corridor.
Some said they had been expelled.
Some said suspended.
But no one really knew.
Even MideFlex, the class clown, the guy who always had something to say, was quiet today. He kept staring at his phone like maybe Lolade would suddenly reply his unread messages 💔
At the front of the class stood Mrs Ifeoluwa Adebiyi.👩🏾🏫
She was grace and authority mixed together
Tall, classy, with that soft British accent that reminded everyone she studied in London 🇬🇧
Everything about her screamed expensive: Her perfume, Her clothes and Her time
She doesn't shout ,she didn't need to
One glance from her was enough to silence the entire class 😳
She hated noise and loved order
She wanted every assignment submitted before the deadline
"Deadlines are for lazy people," she would always say
Today she was teaching about motion
Her handwriting on the whiteboard looked so neat that it could be a font ✍️
But the class was unusually silent.
Too silent...
She turned and looked around slowly.
"Hope everything is alright?" she asked
"It's unlike you to be this quiet, eh?"
Her eyes landed on MideFlex
"Or are you all thinking about your classmates?"
Heads lifted one by one
Some students looked confused
Some looked sad
"Do you have any news on them, ma?" Tomi asked anxiously
She was one of Diana's closest friends
Mrs Adebiyi adjusted her glasses
"No, I don't. But I believe the principal will," she said and turned back to the board
Her calm didn't stop the students' minds from racing
Everyone was thinking about the same thing 😔
After the class ended, Tomi rushed to the lounge
She dropped her bag and sat in front of Zad
"Where is the little disgusting pig, ugh?" she snapped
Zad looked up from packing his notes
"I don't know too," he replied plainly
"You think you're cool? You think you'll go scot-free? This is AllStars Foundation College. You'll see pepper, I promise you," Tomi fired, her eyes sharp with anger 🔥
Tayo leaned back lazily
"Threats don't work on us. You go your way and we go our way," he said, unbothered
"Diana was on her way when Lizzy interrupted her," Tomi said boldly, her voice shaking a little
"Then why are they all found guilty? Maybe it wasn't Lizzy who even put it there," Bayo added
The whole class turned to him with disgusted faces 😒
Tomi's temper snapped
"If Diana gets expelled, I swear you'll smell blood, you fools!" she shouted
"Oh whoa, we are fools now?" Tayo said, his voice mocking
"You're Tomi, right? Last I checked, you were pregnant for Richard, one of my guy friends...he is twenty years old for God's sake!" 😳
The whole room froze🤔🧐
"What?" a voice echoed🫢
"What did he just say?"😬
Noise filled the air instantly 🗣️
Tomi was pregnant? The entire class went wild 😱
Tomi's face turned red
"You idiots! You think you can talk shit about me?" she screamed
Bayo smirked
"We have your test results, don't forget my dad owns a hospital. Sit your butt down, young mother."
A few small laughs escaped the crowd 😬
AraBaddie turned to BigDave
"Can't you say something to her?" she whispered
BigDave sighed
"Me? What should I say? I'm stuck here. Ask KayPrime instead," he said, rubbing his forehead
AraBaddie frowned
"But Lolade isn't guilty. A whole senior girl suspended? No. It can't be happening."
The door suddenly opened 🚪
The laughter stopped immediately
It was the principal.
Principal Lawrence walked in with that serious face that could silence a storm
"Good afternoon everyone," he said
"Good afternoon sir," they chorused
"I can see you're not happy about Monday's incident," he said firmly
"I've told you all before, no fighting in this school. You are the face of AllStars Foundation College. No nonsense!"
Everyone lowered their heads
"The three girls have been suspended," he said slowly
"Ha!" The class gasped in shock 😨
"But sir, it was only Elizabeth that caused the fight! Diana wasn't at fault!" Tomi said quickly
"They were caught fighting," he replied. "Be grateful they weren't expelled."
"But Lolade isn't guilty!" MideFlex stood up suddenly
"She only tried to support me. Lizzy was the one insulting everyone even her classmates can testify!"
"Olamide, your senior girl, slapped a new student. That's unacceptable," the principal said sharply
The class shouted "Ha!" again
He continued, "They have been suspended for four weeks. That's one month. Their study group can only visit to help them stay on track academically."
"Four weeks? That's too much! We have no senior girl!" BigDave complained 😤
"Gift will act as senior girl for now," Principal Lawrence said, forcing a small smile at her. "You'll do well."
Zad raised his hand hesitantly
"Sir, why can't we reach them on their phones?"
"Their phones might have been seized or they're grounded. I can't say," he answered
Then his tone changed, serious again
"The next one caught fighting won't be suspended. They'll be expelled immediately. No begging. Discipline and control must run in AllStars Foundation College."
Every eye turned toward Zad, Bayo, and Tayo 😬
Gift cleared her throat and said softly, "And respect, right sir?"
"Of course. Respect each other. No bullshit," he said and left the lounge
The door closed slowly behind him
The students sat in silence again
Heavy, tense, and broken
Four weeks without Diana, Lizzy, and Lolade
Four weeks of whispers and divided loyalty
AllStars Foundation College was no longer calm
It was just the beginning of a storm 🌩️
