I always do 'cause I don't walk into a house blind. Ever.
I don't need to repeat who Maxwell Chen is. You already know.
What people don't talk about is his wife.
Lara Chen.
On paper, she's nothing special. Just another socialite you see at charity galas, and art auctions. Always photographed in white or beige. She married well, stayed quiet, and played her role perfectly. Whether she knows what her husband really does or not, that's still up for debate.
Then there are the kids.
Victor Chen, the oldest. He's twenty one years old, goes to an Ivy League school, and is an economics major. He literally has future CEO written all over him.
He's got that stiff jaw right now, trying to look brave, trying to look like a man instead of a boy who's never been helpless a day in his life.
But it's not working.
