I opened the door to the first floor. *chitter* chitter* *crunch* *click* wheres the fifth one, is it hiding *crunch* did it kill one of the others
Ill just kill 2 before the others notice me, i lifted the latch for the safety to the glock 19, it made the smallest click and 2 of the mawlings looked my way and let out a screech that made me jump for a second, i pulled the trigger, the first bullet went straight through the first mawler, killing it on the spot, the second one jumped to left and started running on the wall towards me, i took aim and shot it, the bullet went atraight through the head through its torso, and it plopped on the floor, i hope i didnt break those stones
When i looked back where the other 2 were the one that was eating the other was completely gone i looked on the roof and nothing was there, it just vanished, the other one seemed to be stunned it had its hands on the holes on its head, i shot it in the torso to see if it still dies from shots to fatal areas, it fell over dead after, i'd really rather not walk out there with one more that just disappeared but i need to get out of here, i need to get home to atleast check on my sister
I pulled out the metal baton and slowly started down the hallway checking every angle, the crunching of glass under my shoes were all i could hear till a small sound like a hum or buzzing sound started, i looked around to the sudden noise, at the corner of my eye, i saw a figure jumping towards me, i ducked forwards hearing it land on the wall next to me, but when i looked it was gone, the buzzing sound left after that aswell, it seems to be a tell sign of its attack, the body of the creature looked more muscular when i saw it in my vision, but im not sure, i cant be stupid around this stealthy opponent, one false move and ill probably be dead, i was sliwly moving towards the front door, i dont need to kill the creature i could just leave, but i have a feeling it wont let me escape so easily, i heard buzzing again, once again i looked everywhere for the creature that was making the noise and once again i didnt see anything, but i felt this feeling of some kind of force pulling me to the right of me, the second i thought it was going to attack i swung my metal baton as hard as i could to the right, i saw it jumping to towards me, but lucky me my baton was already caving its head in, it fell limply on the ground, i decided to study it a little more while i grabbed the gems from the mawlers, it had 4 sharp fingers, 1 more than the others, it had a very strong physique, thin like stick arms and legs its mouth was small, it also had glassy eyes, it was also maybe a meter smaller than the others, when i grabbed the gem out of the creature, it was in the chest this time, it was slightly bigger than the others aswell
Im glad that killing this mutated mawler wasn't too hard to kill, I think, im going to call this mawler a mawling stalker or mawler stalker, i remember it being the same as the others before, did it get power from killing the others, maybe from eating the gem of the monster it killed, i didn't find one in the body of it
I would've probably lost against it if it mutated again, I wonder how much it could mutate
I headed towards the front door, but right before i was going to grab the door hand i heard a buzz again, i was going to turn around and face it but i was already at the door so i swung it open and went outside closing the door behind me, but as i closed the door, the mawler came flying through the glass door, i pulled out my metal baton, bit the mawler started screeching, it started clawing on it ls body then its body started turning black from its pale white skin, after a little bit there was nothing of its body left except the gem
I guess they're weak to the sun, the sun was about to go down, I should hurry, my moped should be on the side of the building
I ran to the side of the building after grabbing the gem and found my moped still chained to the pipe that i always chain it to, i took it off started it and started on my way home, every road was filled with cars, people moving slowly, they all seemed to be very stressed, some people have blood on them, i guess none of the creatures can come in the sun yet seeing how most of the huilding seem empty and have very few cars in the parking lots, but i have a feeling that once it becomes night that the creatures will come and they will mutate, so i dont think the sun will always be a haven, a kid was walking on the side of the road alone, she had blood on her hands, her head was bleeding, i could only get her hair was ripped from the scalp, i pulled over to see if she was okay
Hey! Kid? Are you okay, Where are your parents?
*looks towards me, but not at me, almost going through me*
Hey? *snapping my fingers* Are you there

She looked up at me and tears started in her eyes
(Kid) T-t-the monsters, we were at home, it was small with a big mouth, it hurt my mommy, my dad brought me to a gym, pne of the people there heard noices in the closet, a really big one with teeth going down to its stomach, huge arms small legs, like taller than you sir, it hurt everyone there, we tried to get out, but everone was blocking the way, my dad had me crawl through a small window, but i didnt want to go, i tried pulling him throught the window
*She looked down at her hands*
The monster grabbed my dads whole torso in one hand and crushed him, his blood came out on my hands, i couldnt move, i was scared, its giant hand grabbed my hair, when it tried grabbing me, i tried to run away, my hair slipped out, i got 2 feet and it got my hair again, but the sun seem to burn it and it yanked it hand back doing this to my head, my dad said something about going to an army base or something but i dont lnow where that is
(Lucian) That sounds terrible, I know where the army base is, im just heading home to grab my sister, do you wanna come with me? I was in the army for a bit, I even killed a few of the mawlers too
(Kid) mawlers?
(Lucian) It's just a name I came up with
(Kid) My mom said not to trust strangers
(Lucian) I understand, what can I do to have you trust me? What's your name, i think I have some bandages, I could patch up your head a bit
(Kid) im Emily and im 13 years old, i would like you to stop the hurt on my head if you can, and I'll trust you, you don't seem mean or bad
(Lucian) Okay Emily, don't worry I won't let anything get to you
(Emily) Just don't get hurt like the others please
(Lucian) I'll try my best
