Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 Electro and Coulson's Visit

Max Dillon — The King of Electricity.

To be honest, although Nathan Hawke already had an idea of who he might summon, there were still many different versions of Electro across the multiverse.

And the one standing before him now—Max Dillon from Ultimate Spider-Man—was exactly the version Nathan wanted.

Without question, one of his most valuable traits was the ability to become pure energy.

As soon as Max Dillon appeared, Nathan felt a strange shift inside his own body—a resonance between summoner and summoned.

Thankfully, it wasn't the other Electro—Reinhold Schmidt, the son of the Red Skull.

If it had been that one, Nathan honestly didn't know how he'd deal with him.

In truth, Nathan wasn't entirely sure if these summoned villains were fully obedient to him.Unlike those characters in "system novels" who appear 100% loyal upon summoning, his summons seemed… more independent.

Still, Nathan smiled and said,"Max Dillon, right? Welcome to this world."

"Who are you people?" Max asked cautiously. His body had stopped crackling with electricity—he looked like a normal man again, albeit a powerful one.

"Invisible Man, explain everything to him—our plan, his role. He's part of the Superhero Project now. Oh, and one more thing—don't let him near any power sources yet. The last thing we need is a citywide blackout."

"Got it, boss," said the Invisible Man with a grin.

He turned to Max. "Hey, man, cheer up. You're just out of juice right now. Once we're done, I'll take you out for a night on the town—you'll be fully charged in no time."

"Play?" Max frowned, not liking the implication. He didn't touch drugs or that kind of thing.

"Yeah," the Invisible Man smirked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "Plenty of fun—and plenty of energy."

Before long, he led Max out of the room.

"Is that wise?" a voice came from behind—Andrei, the so-called Super V.

"He just needs a friend," Nathan said without turning around. "Same as you did when you first arrived."

"Oh," Andrei paused, realizing it was true. A hint of envy flickered in his eyes.

"If you want to go, then go," Nathan said casually.

Andrei grinned. "No, I'll stay. That fight yesterday showed me I still need training." He took off before Nathan could respond.

Nathan chuckled softly. That guy…

The Next Day

It was a media circus.

Every major outlet was covering Stark Industries' press conference—a follow-up to the explosive events from the night before.

Reporters buzzed about Tony Stark, Super V, and Obadiah Stane.

Agents Phil Coulson and James Rhodes stood side by side, watching.

"I think the military should've handled yesterday's situation," Rhodes muttered.

Coulson didn't answer. Instead, he said, "Let's just focus on helping Tony clean up this mess."

Rhodes frowned. "So, what did you find out?"

"Nothing worth sharing yet," Coulson replied with a polite smile before walking off.

Watching the broadcast, Nathan Hawke leaned back in his chair.

Finally, he thought. The world is beginning to change because of me.

In this version of events, Obadiah Stane was still alive. Tony's press conference was similar to what Nathan remembered—but with slight differences.

And then came that iconic moment.

"I am Iron Man."

Headlines exploded across the world.Every news outlet, every gossip page, every social feed was talking about Iron Man.

The most ridiculous rumor came from a tabloid:

"Shocking! Iron Man's secret love affair — woman claims to be pregnant with his child!"

Nathan stared at the newspaper.

Honestly, it wasn't that far-fetched. In early Marvel timelines, Tony Stark had plenty of "descendants and relatives"—sons, daughters, cousins, even adopted heirs.

He smirked. Maybe next time, I'll tell Justin Hammer this story.

He tapped his fingers on the desk.

It was time to launch the Superhero Project.

Meanwhile, at S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, Coulson had discovered something unusual.

"The Superhero Project? What the hell is that?" he asked, scanning the intelligence reports.

"Hawke Industries," one agent replied. "They used to make household goods… maybe they're planning a new product line—like superhero-themed merchandise? Superhero heat pads, maybe… superhero sanitary napkins?"

The room burst into laughter—except for the agent who brought the report.

He looked grim. "Sir, I'm serious."

Coulson's smile faded as he read the next page.

"Super V.""Invisible Man.""Electro."

He froze. These were super-powered individuals—at least three of them.

"Is this confirmed?" he asked sharply.

"Yes, sir. 100% confirmed. In fact, Hawke Industries isn't even trying to hide it. They've already invited major media outlets to a public event."

Coulson went pale. He immediately made a call.

"If this is about Hawke Industries' 'Superhero Project,' don't waste time talking. Get there. Meet Nathan Hawke. Now!"

The shouting voice on the other end made him wince.

Moments later, Coulson jumped into his car and sped toward Hawke Tower.

In Nathan's office, his secretary Jenny entered."Boss, there's a man named Coulson here. Says he's from the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. I checked—he's legit."

"Let him in."

A moment later, Coulson entered, all smiles and professionalism.

"Mr. Hawke, pleasure to meet you," he said, shaking hands.

"Nathan Hawke," he replied. "Have a seat. What would you like to drink?"

"Uh… a cup of tea, half a spoon of sugar, if possible."

Nathan pressed a button. "One iced lemon tea, one red tea, half sugar."

Once the drinks arrived, Nathan leaned back."So, Agent Coulson—what brings S.H.I.E.L.D. to my office?"

"It's about your Superhero Project," Coulson said.

Nathan smiled. "You'll find out soon enough. We're holding a press event. You're welcome to attend."

Coulson nodded. In his mind, though, he was thinking—Are they under control?

He didn't dare ask.

Instead, he smiled and said, "Then I'll make sure to get front-row seats."

"Jenny," Nathan said. "Make sure Agent Coulson gets the best viewing spot."

After some polite conversation, Coulson left.

Moments later, the Invisible Man uncloaked.

"He's carrying hidden surveillance devices—bugs, cameras, tracking chips," he reported.

This invisibility suit, built by ex-Stark engineers, could detect and counter such tech easily.

"Should I follow him? Maybe trace their headquarters?"

"No need," Nathan said. "Wesker's already on it."

S.H.I.E.L.D. had long suspected Wesker and Umbrella Corp. of illegal bioengineering—and had already planted agents inside.

Unfortunately for them, Wesker could smell a spy a mile away—and his virus wasn't something anyone wanted to mess with.

Nathan stood up and adjusted his tie.

"Prepare for the press conference."
