As she gape in wonderment at the very man that has been disrupting her dreams this past few days she thought but this time around it was almost as if she was seeing him for the first time
Standing before her was an extremely good looking man, the mere word handsome was a great understatement, as his appearance appear to be otherworldly handsome it was the same man she met at the bar
His skin appear to be porcelain-like complexion with a subtle sheen, maybe it was because of the light of the day she thought
He moves with the very grace of a mystical hero, commanding attention without seeking it, his eyes was as bright almost piercing directly to her as he watched her every movements like a predator watching its prey
His features were almost too perfect to her,as if crafted by the hands of the gods, he was an unsettling beauty she thought to herself
Serena snapped out of her gaze as she stared right back at his eyes, he was impressed by her confidence
"We meet again"he said amusedly
"Indeed although I would have preferred it to be in a more comfortable setting"
He shrugged his shoulders, the gesture just a mere twitch of his shoulder. She found herself short of words now that she was facing him directly
"I apologize for the damage I caused your car, if there's a way I would like to pay for the damage I caused"
He stared at her amused at her offering as he stared her over,his gaze drifted past her,and observed her car "can you really afford to pay"
"I might not pay in full but I would pay in installments" she said as she rustled with her purse to bring out her jotter to jot down the account details
The damaged done can not be more than a measly thousand dollars, she thougt as she examined his car
He looked at her a flicker of interes sparked his icy eyes, she was taken by surprise
"Can he read minds" she thought as she tried to remain impassive
He finally turned to her his eyes detached as he turned away "don't worry little kitten, just go home"
She held his arms as he tried to go, the little contact as her hands brushed his arms made her flinch away as she felt the familiar electric jolt she felt at the bar.
She turned to look at him wondering if he felt the same thing but his face gave absolutely nothing away as he appear detached with a kind of numbness that shows his disinterest with everything in the world
She found herself feeling sorry for him as he appeared lonely,he looked like a little boy that has never experience love she thought
She had once thought she had it worst but it appear she might have been wrong
A thought came to her,why not use this opportunity
She was suddenly pumped with adrenaline as she found herself bravely offering herself to him
"Since you don't want me to pay you for the damage and I don't like being in debt with anyone" "let me be your girlfriend then"
His lips twitched,a fleeting,almost smile appeared on his face,before he regained his composure " what makes you think I would agree to that"
"Well it is benefiting for the both of us as I don't like to be in debt,I will be your girlfriend it is a fair trade"
"Go home little kitten,you don't know what you are offering yourself to"
Why does he keep saying this she thought
"What is your ideal type" she asked
He looked her over as he glanced at her outfit from head to toe
"Someone that does not look like you,you are too unattractive"
she felt rage thundering inside her why does she always appear in front of him in her most worst state she thought to herself as she assessed her own outfit
She had worn her usual daily outfit, a simple baggy white pants with a matching white sweatshirt she had paired it with a bright blue hand knitted scarf,she wrapped the scarf around her neck, it was the scarf her late mother had knitted for her, her hair was tied in a messy bun
All of a sudden she was regretting her choice of clothing, if only she had accepted Kathy's offer in styling her but she had rejected it ,as she had wanted to look unappealing on purpose,that was how she had been living all this while
She wished she had made an effort in her appearance today, if only she had known she would see him today she thought
"I purposely dressed this way" she said defensively
"Is that so" he said mockingly a glint of amusement sparkling in his icy green eyes
"How about I prove to you that I can be attractive,what do you say?"
He knows she was beautiful even with just her bare face she was already a sight to behold but unfortunately, her very person was dangerous to him
He lean towards her,just a mere fraction as he fiddled absentmindedly at the edge of her scarf wrapped around her neck
"Blue" he muttered to himself as he continued fiddling with her scarf
"What is your name?" He asked
"Serena Kang" she said
"Serena" he repeated, a soft whisper towards the end
She found herself stifling as her name rolled off his tongue naturally like it was meant to be said by him
Her name had never sounded this good before she thought as she wanted him to continue saying her name
"Little kitten,go home my world is not a place for little girls like you" he said as he turned to take his leave
"Wait" she called to him
" At least tell me what you mean when you said you were not the one for me" she told him as she felt dejected by his constant rejections
