Kathy's Luxurious Apartment
Serena got there at exactly 3pm as Kathy had told her to come early, she walked inside the apartment and was first greeted by the happy barks of Kathy dog "Milo" she was already familiar with Milo from before.
Kathy saw the dog wounded and abandoned on the streets of her apartment one day and had taken the dog to a Veterinarian doctor to treat the dog, unfortunately after the treatment the doctor had claimed that they did not have any vacant room to care for the dog and adviced her to adopt the dog through legal means,so she can properly ensure it's well-being.
Kathy had gone through a long adoption process before she was eventually given the permit to take care of the dog,and that was when she had named him "Milo" whenever Serena came to visit or came for sleepovers at Kathy's house she always met and played with the dog,the dog was also quite fond of Serena.
Back to the present
Serena played with the dog for some time as Milo wag his tail at her happily.
Kathy came down from her room when she heard Milo barks and Serena laughter.
"I was just arranging your dress in my room when I heard your voice" Kathy said as the two girls made their way upstairs to start the preparation for the night.
"So, do tell me Renie, what if he sees you tonight and refuse to let you go, what will you do then?" Kathy said playfully.
"That's the plan, I want him by all means" "I've never felt this way for anyone, that it feels surreal".
Kathy sigh "Oh my! My dearest Renie is In love" she said as she ushered Serena to her bathroom to quickly shower before starting her makeup.
In the bathroom Serena was in deep thought "Was she really in love with that man?" She was not sure as she had never felt this way for anyone before.
Kathy called out to Serena from the room "what if he finally approves and asked you to date him? What will you do? Do you even know what they do after dates?" Kathy asked seriously this time, she knew Serena was innocent when it comes to anything involving boys, she wanted her to be mentally prepared because anything can happen on a date.
"Of course I do Kathy, don't be ridiculous I've read a lot of romance novel to know what goes down next".
"Okay, but have you read smut? Smut is on another level of romance Renie, what if he is a pro in smut? Now I regret that I did not force you to read does smut novel I bought for you the other day".
Serena could not help but shake her head at her overly courageous and naughty friend, she came out of the Shower as Kathy began prepping her face with different kinds of skin care routines, before she eventually started her makeup, once she was done with Serena makeup, Serena turned to the mirror but could not recognize herself as she stared back at the face that was staring back at her.
Kathy turned her over as she gasp at her own work.
"Omg! Rena you already look so good, now let me do my own makeup before we dress you up properly".
After she was down with her makeup Kathy brought out the box containing Serena dress that she had kept earlier, Serena reached for the cover of the box before she opened the box she gasp.
Inside the box was a Teal color silk dress, a sleek form fitting gown that shimmered like the ocean's depth, Serena reached inside the box as she brought out the dress and held it up in front of her, the fluid fabric and the vabriant teal hue sparkled, captivating the blend of blue and green undertones that seemed to shift and glow in the light.
Serena gape at the gown as she stared at the gown, to say she was impressed was a gross understatement, it look so much different from the gown she had fitted on Wednesday, it seems they had done a few touches as the dress now shines in a way that it reflects in her eyes.
She turned to Kathy "it's perfect".
"I know, hold on let me help you get into it, you are the star of the day, know that Renie so you need to shine the brightest" Kathy said as she began her preparation.
Kathy wore her dress first, She wore a long sapphire evening gown that fit her like a glove, it's straight silhouette creating a streamlined look. The rich, jewel-toned fabric glittering in the light, evoking the deep, velvety softness of a precious sapphire. The dress's smooth, fitted design accentuated her figure, creating a sophisticated, elegant appearance.
Serena thought as she gape at her friend, she looked like a fairy she always does. Serena said to herself.
"Now it's your turn Renie" Kathy said as she started dressing Serena.

It was well pass 5:30pm before Kathy finally finished dressing Serena in her gown.
"Oh My God! Renie-dear look how stunning you look, you are easily the most beautiful woman in the world right now, I knew you were beautiful but this." Kathy gasp as she turned Serena left and then right, Serena was suddenly nervous with all the praises Kathy was sending her way but when she turned over to look at her reflection in the mirror she was surprised.
"Is that really me" she said it out loud.
"Yes girl, you look like a goddess, you are perfect Renie, I don't think that man is deserving of you." she said
"Wait till you see him yourself, you wil eat back your words".
"Whatever, come here let me see my Masterpiece clearly." Kathy said as she continued turning Serena over.
Serena gave herself one final look at the mirror. "Kathy really outdid herself with this dress".
It was finally time to go, Kathy had called her chauffeur to drive them,the chauffeur opened the car door for them as the two girls sat down in the car, they talked about various things before the chauffeur stopped the car and told them they had reached the venue.
