"Who is ready for treasure hunt game"Serena said as she beamed at the children
"Yeah! Treasure hunt game" one of the kids exclaimed.
They played till noon before Serena decided to call it quits as all the kids were already exhausted. Serena went inside with the other kids and promised to come again whenever she was chanced
Serena turned to them "I will be taking my leave now,ensure to be good kids,is that clear?"

Before bidding them goodbye and kissing Abigail on her cheek, as she went back to her car with a heavy heart and gloomy mind not the kind of mood she came to the shelter
She entered her car and decided to make a stop at the hospital where Maria was admitted to check on her and the baby also to see Abigail's doctor to further understand what they can do,as she willed herself to be strong for Abi and herself.
Serena had wanted to adopt Abigail when she first came to the children shelter,as she find herself drawn to the girl from that moment and Abi would never leave her side also.it was painful for her that the girl would have to face all this challenges so early in her life,it was unsettling her
She stopped at a florist shop on her way to the hospital to get flowers for Maria, before heading to the hospital
she also got fruits for her as well as she discovered that a breastfeeding mother needs vitamin to properly breast feed
She packed her car in the hospital parking lot before making her way to the entrance
as she went inside "where is Maria Fisher 's room,please?" She asked the receptionist
"She was recently moved to the vvip room Ms,you will have to take the stairs to the elevator on your right,the second room on the 8th floor is her room" the receptionist explained patiently "
Thanks" Serena followed her directions and eventually find the room.
The hospital is one of the most renowned hospital in country V and it was owned by Kathy's Father. She knocked on the door and heard a soft and faint "Come in" before she entered the room
She turned to see Maria breastfeeding her baby with a urine bag nearly invisible underneath her, she dropped the flower and fruits basket on the table "
Oh Serena,it's so good to see you,thank you for coming"
The vvip room was a master bedroom, that consist of about two more extra rooms,a sitting room for visitors to sit and chat, it had a toilet and bathroom and was well furnished with expensive looking furniture The interior of the room was light pink that gives off a peaceful and approach full look
"How are you doing Maria?" She said as she sat down on the bed with her
"I'm doing great,Ms Serena looking at my adorable daughter makes all the pain go away"she said as she gazed at her daughter lovingly
"She sure is beautiful and she looks just like you" she said as she wondered if she would ever be able to carry her own child one day "I brought you flowers and fruits, make sure to eat the fruits,they are good for breastfeeding mothers" Serena told her
"You didn't have to Ms Serena,you and everyone at the shelter has been so good and kind to us"she said as she kept the baby in the baby's bed and turned to hold Serena's hand
"I heard from the nurses that you and Ms Kathy are the reason why I'm staying at this luxurious and beautiful room,I am so grateful to the both of you"
"Don't say that,it was all Kathy's influence I had nothing to do with this,her father owns this hospital she would not have let you or any one from the shelter stay in any other place"
"Still Serena, all this wouldn't have been possible with out you,you are so kind, I hope you find the happiness that you deserve"she prayed "please extend my greetings to Ms Kathy"
"No problem, we had planned to come here together but she was busy with work and couldn't make it"
"That's fine" Maria moved to carry the baby and gave her to Serena
"I saw as you have been staring at her ever since"Maria said as she gave her the baby
Serena stayed with her and the baby for some time before a nurse came to give her,her hourly medication,she had to take her leave as she said her goodbyes
She turned to go over to Abi's doctor office, she was quite familiar with the doctor due to past relations the doctor had with her family As she got to the doctor office,she waited for some minutes to collect herself emotionally before eventually turning the door knob
She was greeted by the doctor "Good day Ms Serena,I had been expecting you" she had already told of her plans to see him prior to her coming
"Good afternoon Dr Orion" she greeted back
"Please sit down" he said as he gestured to one of the chairs "Yes, concerning Abigail's health"he began
"we discovered that her lungs has started to scar from excessive coughing because of her pneumonia,like I had already explained to the manager and caregivers, she would need to take her medication constantly"
"Doctor I already know all this,I want to know if we can just get the lung transplant done as soon as possible ""That would not be easy,as it is hard to get a donor,and moreover we need the lung to match with hers"
"You can use mine,just get it done,please" she said almost close to tears
"Do calm down it had not gotten to that stage yet, luckily it was discovered on time she just needs her medications and you know with your current state you can't donate to anyone" he added Serena took a deep breath
" I know but I can't bear to see her go through this kind of a thing" "Like I said it was discovered on time and is not something you should give yourself hypertension over"he assured
She sighed in relief"Thank you Doctor"
She turned to take her leave "Ms Serena when will you come for a proper checkup"he asked worriedly She looked at him
"soon doctor,when I get what I want" she said determinedly as she walked out of his office
"She's just impossible " the doctor thought
She finally walked out of the hospital as she was done with her task for today, she decided to head home.
She walked into the parking lot and entered her car,she started the car as she soon hit the road her mind replaying everything that has happened today,today was both terrifying and assuring she thought in relief.
She was happy the sickness was not that life threatening to Abi As she was driving and listening to music,she suddenly heard a loud bang sound,she looked up,her car had bumped into another car She turned down her ignition as she came down from her car she soon approached the other car
" oh no what have I done"she said in panic As she gave the car her car had hit a good look it was the latest bugatti la voiture and it was in black color,she was not that familiar with cars but Kathy had been showing her the exact picture of this car she had been trying to get but could not get it
"How did her small Honda Civic do this" she thought as she observe the damage on the car " she was dead meat" she thought as she saw someone coming down from the car, she saw well polished black shoe first,before the man appeared completely dressed in black expensive looking suit
"I'm done for" she thought as she mentally calculated her estimated wealth along with her grandparents wealth as she thought it was still not enough
"I'm done"this time she said that aloud,she decided to bring out all her cuteness to charm this man into forgiving her because she was sure this car meant nothing compare to his wealth.
She turned to him in her most sweetest voice "oh my goodness,my car had subtly hit your car,please accept my apology " she said pleadingly The man looked at her amused with her way of speaking
"I'm not the one you should apologize to ma'am" he said as he turned and went in the direction of the passengers seat WAIT!!!he was not the owner of the car and he was dressed like this
"what will the owner wear then?" She thought as she tried to listen in to the conversation the man was having but she could not hear a thing All of a sudden the other man pulled the passenger door open She felt the air stifling, as the mood in the atmosphere changed to a gloomy mood
She stood upright as the man stepped out of the car,his every stride reflects that of affectless drone, devoid of inflation, she found herself drawing back slowly before he could come close to her suddenly afraid for her life,the man came in closer view to her
as she screamed
