Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: Fierce Battle

The Evil Crow King seized the opportunity, releasing its Demon Eye the moment its gaze met Marcus'.

A strange red light illuminated its crimson eyes, and Marcus felt his vision go dark, terrifying hallucinations involuntarily surfacing in his mind.

He saw himself, his head clutched in the Evil Crow King's beak, his headless body sprawled on the ground, a large hole in his chest. Other Ravens stood on him, feasting on his internal organs. His heart was instantly filled with endless dread.

Marcus, trapped in the hallucination, froze in place. The Evil Crow King's eyes glowed red again, ready to deliver a fatal blow.

At this critical moment, Ezreal, who had been keeping a distracted eye on the battlefield from the sky, reacted with lightning speed. A 'Heavenly Illumination' spell, like a brilliant white meteor, shot directly towards the Evil Crow King.

The Evil Crow King was struck by this powerful force; white light exploded, and a violent shockwave blasted both of them away.

The Evil Crow King was covered in numerous white solar energy particles from the 'Heavenly Illumination' explosion, which continued to burn its body. It instantly transformed itself into a cloud of black smoke, abandoning the burning parts, and flew backward with a shriek.

Marcus also broke free from the hallucination due to the sudden impact. He gasped for breath, sweat pouring down like rain.

His body was also stained with some solar energy particles from the 'Heavenly Illumination' explosion, and the burning sensation on his skin jolted him awake.

"Marcus, snap out of it!" Ezreal shouted, forming a hand seal with one hand, and the 'Heavenly Illumination' particles on Marcus' body extinguished.

Cana also shouted, "Don't give it a chance to breathe!"

Marcus composed himself, his hands once again dancing, manipulating the sand to form a gigantic sand pillar that crashed into the black-mist-form Evil Crow King with overwhelming force.

The Evil Crow King was struck by the sand pillar, and the black mist shrank considerably again.

However, the Evil Crow King was powerful after all. It reformed its body again, and surprisingly, its aura was only slightly weakened, with no obvious injuries on its body.

The Evil Crow King's eyes widened, shooting out two thick, bloody beams of light, destroying two more Stone Warriors and heading straight for Cana and Marcus.

The two quickly dodged, and the bloody light hit the ground, immediately corroding a large pit.

Ezreal said to the two, "Cana, Marcus, I'll take care of the Ravens in the sky. The ones on the ground are up to you!"

Cana and Marcus responded in unison, "Don't worry!"

Ezreal, riding a Crimson Feathered Demon Wolf, maintained a certain distance from the Raven flock, while the other five Crimson Feathered Demon Wolves charged towards the airborne Raven flock like arrows from a bowstring.

Heavenly Illumination spells shot out from his hands one after another. These fist-sized white meteors, trailing long plumes of fire, streaked across the night sky like brilliant stars.

The moment the meteors collided with the Raven flock, an intensely bright white light erupted, so dazzling that it was almost impossible to keep one's eyes open, accompanied by earth-shattering explosions.

The powerful impact, like an invisible giant hand, violently flung the surrounding Ravens far away.

The Ravens' feathers instantly ignited, turning into leaping flames. Their mournful screams echoed through the sky.

Ezreal, riding on the back of a Crimson Feathered Demon Wolf, was as agile as a dragon, majestic and awe-inspiring.

The destructive beams of light spewed from the mouths of the Crimson Feathered Demon Wolves, intertwined with the Heavenly Illumination meteors he continuously released, weaving a dense and impenetrable net of deadly firepower.

The Ravens, originally known for their agility, were like trapped beasts in a desperate situation under this powerful and dense attack, dashing left and right but with nowhere to escape.

Ravens constantly plummeted straight from the sky under the impact of this powerful magical force, turning into dark, inky smoke and dissipating into the air.

On the ground, Cana's hands moved swiftly, the cards in her hands leaping and shimmering like spirits.

Sometimes the cards transformed into dense, incredibly sharp ice spikes, shooting towards the Raven flock with overwhelming force.

Wherever the ice spikes went, the air seemed to freeze. The Ravens shrieked in terror, trying to evade the deadly attack, but were struck by the high-speed ice spikes, freezing into ice sculptures and falling to the ground.

Other times, the cards transformed into fiercely burning, scorching flames, forming a surging sea of fire that mercilessly engulfed the Ravens.

In the flames, the Ravens' feathers were scorched, emitting a pungent, burnt smell.

Marcus' eyes were wide, veins bulging on his forehead, his entire body's magic continuously flowing into the surrounding sand.

Under his control, the sand sometimes condensed into huge, sharp spikes, piercing fiercely into the Ravens like long spears and halberds.

Wherever the spikes passed, the Ravens' bodies were easily pierced, blood splattering.

Other times, the sand transformed into huge, powerful claws, striking fiercely at the approaching Ravens with a whistling sound.

With each strike, the sound of breaking Raven bones and their painful wails could be heard.

Facing the coordinated and fierce attacks of the two, the Ravens, despite their large numbers, gradually showed signs of decline.

However, under the command of the Evil Crow King, they continued to launch wave after wave of assaults.

Although the Stone Warriors could not keep up with the Ravens' movement speed, they did not retreat. Without pain or fear, they steadfastly held their defensive line.

Whenever a Raven tried to break through, the Stone Warriors swung their massive stone axes and hammers, delivering heavy blows to the Ravens.

The Stone Warriors, relying on their extremely high magic resistance and tough bodies, firmly blocked the Ravens' attacks.

This allowed Marcus and Cana to unleash their magic to their fullest.

In the area where the Raven flock was located, the purple poisonous mist in the air grew thicker and thicker. Many Ravens, while flying, fell to the ground, flapping their wings and spitting blood, mixed with fragments of corrupted internal organs.

The longer the battle dragged on, the more effective the auxiliary abilities of the two Marsh Frogs became.

Seeing the unfavorable situation, the Evil Crow King let out a sharp and mournful cry.

This cry was filled with anger, unwillingness, and despair. It furiously flapped its wide wings, the strong wind pressure dispersing much of the poisonous mist, as it tried to lead its remaining tattered forces in retreat.

"Trying to run? Not so easy!" Cana exclaimed, a hint of ruthlessness flashing in her eyes.

The card in her hand glowed green, instantly transforming into a giant green thorn, thick as a python, that flew towards the Evil Crow King like lightning.

The thorn quickly and accurately wrapped around the Evil Crow King's body.

A human-like look of disdain flashed in the Evil Crow King's eyes, and its body transformed into a large cloud of black smoke, attempting to break free from the thorns.

Marcus seized the opportunity, forming a claw with one hand and pointing it at the Evil Crow King, letting out a low roar, "Sand Burial!"

The sand on the ground surged up like a living thing, instantly engulfing the Evil Crow King, which had turned into black smoke, forming a sand sphere.

Just then, Ezreal successfully dealt with the Raven flock in the sky, descending like a god of war with six Crimson Feathered Demon Wolves.

His eyes glowed with golden light, and in his left hand, he tightly clutched a remarkably powerful Heavenly Illumination spell, its white light as brilliant as a star.

Before he landed, he instantly activated Arcane Shift, transforming into a golden light and disappearing from the wolf's back. In a blink of an eye, the golden light reappeared, and Ezreal appeared before the sand sphere trapping the Evil Crow King, fiercely striking with his left fist.

His left fist, imbued with the power of Heavenly Illumination, struck the sand sphere.

Dazzling white light erupted from Ezreal's left fist, forming a massive pillar of light that engulfed the sand sphere and the Evil Crow King within it.
