Chapter 39 - Chapter 39 Stone Warrior

Green, mysterious incantations glowed with an eerie green light above Ezreal's head, illuminated by the small sun's rays.

Green mist also permeated around the incantations, and upon closer inspection, these incantations seemed to possess life, twisting irregularly.

"Go!" Ezreal clasped his hands together, his eyes completely stained an eerie green, and he roared.

The green incantations in front of him, having received the command, trembled slightly before exploding into a large cloud of green mist, quickly enveloping the Red and Blue Melee Minions and the four Ancient Krugs.

However, the green mist was not dense, only barely managing to cover this group of Summoned Beasts.

"Not enough!" Ezreal's forehead veins bulged, his eerie green eyes glowed, his face was ferocious, and magic power surged around him.

Golden magic power erupted from his body, forming a golden pillar of light that shot straight into the sky, illuminating the entire night.

The birds and beasts in the forest were once again intimidated by such immense magic power, scattering in fright.

"Success or failure hinges on this one move, Ancient Krugs, embrace your new life!"

"Life Alchemy! Activate!"

Inside the golden pillar of light, Ezreal's figure was completely obscured and covered, his voice emerging deep and solemn, with a strong echo, as if dozens of Ezreals were shouting in unison.

An eerie green light appeared from within the golden pillar, then rapidly ascended, turning the entire pillar from golden to green.

A rich life aura emanated from the now green pillar of light, but it seemed extremely unstable; the formerly straight pillar was now shaking and twisting.

Within a few seconds, the green pillar of light exploded, and surging green mist completely obscured an area of a hundred meters.

Beneath the thick fog, Ezreal gasped for air, the sweat on his body having been evaporated by the accompanying high temperature during the magic power explosion.

His magic power and stamina had both dropped to their lowest point.

"I underestimated these guys; I thought one-fifth of my magic power would be enough to complete the alchemy, but I didn't expect it to require all of my magic power."

"Next time, I still need to kill some creatures beforehand and extract their life force as casting materials; directly converting magic power into life force consumes too much."

Ezreal sat on the ground without any regard for his image, surrounded by thick green mist, unable to see what was happening inside.

However, relying on the Dimensional Contract's perception, he could confirm that the Red and Blue Melee Minions were disappearing one by one, while the aura belonging to the Ancient Krugs was growing stronger and stronger.

The thick green mist lasted for about half an hour, finally beginning to gather in two locations.

The converging mist formed two four-meter-high green mist masses, and the more than six hundred Red and Blue Melee Minions had already vanished.

Not long after, the center of the two massive green mist spheres began to rotate, and a vortex appeared in the very middle, as if there was a vacuum cleaner inside the mist spheres.

Within a few tens of seconds, all the mist was absorbed and condensed by the vortex, revealing two tall Stone Warriors.

These two Stone Warriors were about 3.3 meters tall, with very robust and sturdy physiques, composed entirely of a gray color, similar to limestone carvings, with clear muscle contours and facial features.

The Stone Warrior on the left had bright red eyes and a fierce face; his left hand held a huge round stone shield, wide enough to be nearly a round table, and his right hand tightly gripped a short-handled stone axe.

While called a short-handled stone axe, that was from the Stone Man's perspective; to an ordinary person, it would definitely be a giant axe, about 1.7 meters long, with a broad axe blade at least 90 centimeters wide.

The Stone Warrior on the right had azure blue eyes and a solemn, rigid face; his left hand held a two-meter-tall rectangular shield resembling a stone door, and his right hand held a two-meter-tall square stone hammer.

The hammerhead was enormous and very rough, looking like a suitcase-sized block of limestone with an irregular stone pillar growing out of the middle!

And the Stone Warrior lifted this rock block with the stone pillar!

Ezreal stood up and walked a few circles around the two Stone Warriors, inspecting them carefully before nodding with great satisfaction.

"Not bad, finally got rid of that trash Krug form from before; now they look much more pleasing to the eye."

Ezreal placed his palm on the red Stone Man's thigh, sensing the magic power intensity of these two Stone Warriors, and was very pleased.

"They have the magic power level of a C-Class Mage; that's good.

It's a decent improvement to gain this much by absorbing the little Krugs and the Valley Minions." Ezreal patted the big guy with satisfaction.

The Summoned Beasts he could summon in the Valley now.

The weakest were these two groups of Ancient Krugs; their internal magic power was very low, their strength was also very weak, and their attack methods were singular, mostly relying on their massive size to ram enemies or simply to absorb damage.

If classified by Mage strength, Ancient Krugs were equivalent to ordinary magical beasts, barely qualifying as Rank D Magical Beast.

Slightly stronger were the Shadow Wolves; they had keen senses, were good runners, agile, and had amazing stamina.

Although they didn't know any magic, their vitality was tenacious, and they were very flexible in combat.

The Shadow Wolves' strength was a bit stronger than the Krugs, belonging to the standard Rank D Magical Beast.

Next were the Crimson Raptors; they were different.

Although their physique was not as robust as the previous two, making them relatively squishy, they had more internal magic power and naturally possessed a fireball magic.

Their running speed on the ground was no slower than the Shadow Wolves, and they could also fly.

The small Raptors' strength was steadily comparable to the Ancient Krugs, and with their astonishing flying speed and long-range fireballs, it was incredibly easy to wear down the slow-moving and monotonously attacking Ancient Krugs without taking damage.

The larger Crimson Raptors were even stronger, reaching Rank C Magical Beast level.

Although they only spat fireballs, their flying speed was extremely fast, making them difficult to hit with ordinary attacks.

As for the Marsh Frog, it had abundant magic power and a massive physique.

It appeared somewhat clumsy, but its jumping power was astonishing, leaping seven or eight meters with ease, possessing an agility and speed that sharply contrasted with its body.

It was also amphibious, could swim, and was even faster in water.

It also came with highly corrosive venom and knew two types of magic: a wide-range toxic smoke attack and a single-target venom projectile.

Its strength was very good, and due to its corrosive venom, it was very difficult to deal with, having a C+ Rank Magical Beast level according to classification.

The strongest were the Brambleback and the Blue Sentinel!

Although Ezreal had never summoned these two in front of others, their strength was very impressive.

Each had beneficial magic: one restored mana and provided increased magic resistance, while the other restored health and made attacks imbued with fire magic.

The Brambleback possessed innate fire magic and plant magic.

The Blue Sentinel possessed innate Earth Magic and very powerful magic resistance.

Their strength firmly placed them at the B-Class Mage level, and they were kept hidden as a trump card.
