Chapter 6 - Ohh!

It's our responsibility. Kalvin, I understand...

After talking to the nexus, Kalvin left the alley and headed towards his house. Kalvin came to their house through the market road and looked at their broken house, thinking to himself, Astron's wish was to give his sister a beautiful life together after her parents died. His wish was going to be fulfilled in a few days. After I open the cafe, I will stop Stella from working outside her house.

He entered their house and sat on the bed and tapped his teeth according to a special rhythm and reached the mysterious place of the blue mist. He went there and sat on his royal throne. Then a scene appeared in front of him. There, a person was praying to someone. Oh god, give us your grace. Oh god, give us your grace. In this way, the man was praying repeatedly. Kalvin looked at that man for a while and then extended his hand towards him like goddess evernight, and his spirituality came out of his hand and started going towards that man.

A man was standing by the window in his room praying to God. He had prayed many times before but no one had ever answered his call. He thought that he would not get any answer today either. But he continued praying. Suddenly he saw small bright particles in front of him and the next moment he saw everything blur and the next moment he came to a mysterious place of blue mist. He was completely surprised to see this. He saw a man sitting on a huge royal throne in front of him. He did not understand what had happened to him. However, he guessed what had happened to him and he knelt down in front of the great shadow in front of him and did not dare to look at him. Because he had been told not to look directly at the gods.

Kalvin looked at the man and asked him to come up and sit on one of the small thrones. The man went straight to one of the small thrones and sat down. Kalvin thought to himself that the man seemed to be looking at him as a god. Kalvin first starts the conversation. Kalvin first asks the man his name. The man says his name is Alik. Kalvin introduces himself to Alik as the mysterious ruler. Kalvin, so Alik, why did you pray to me? Alik, please help us, ohh the mysterious ruler. our god has abandoned us. This is why our city of sunlight has fallen under a great curse. The sun does not rise here at present. Various types of monsters have now started attacking this land which did not happen before. We need a powerful bings help for restore from that situation. So, please, ohh my mysterious ruler I will give you my entire life, please help our sunlight city. Kalvin, Hey you. I am a god who doesn't belongs from this universe. I didn't have that much power to help you. But if you help me to remove my restrictions, I can help you in the future.

Kalvin stopped speaking and looked directly at the man named Alik, who was still kneeling even after being asked to sit.

A Bargain Struck in the Mist

Alik looked up, his face etched with confusion and despair. "Restrictions? What restrictions, oh Mysterious Ruler? And how can a mortal like me help a god?" His voice was a strained whisper, echoing faintly in the vast, silent blue mist.

Kalvin leaned forward slightly on his massive throne, the shadow of his form deepening. "My power is currently bound by the rules of this universe. A powerful seal, so to speak. To break it, I need a conduit, a vessel, one who truly believes in the existence of the forces beyond this reality—someone who already prays for a miracle. And you, Alik, are that perfect vessel."

He paused, letting his words sink in. "Your city, Sunlight City, is suffering. You need a powerful being to intervene. I cannot do that yet. But if you accept my guidance and become my Disciple, you will be the key to my freedom. Through you, I can slowly unravel the seal, and as my power grows, so too will yours. You will gain the strength to fight the monsters, to bring back the sun, and to save your city."

Alik's eyes widened, a flicker of hope amidst his terror. He hesitated for a long moment, processing the unbelievable offer. A god from outside their universe, constrained, offering a direct path to power. It was dangerous, almost heretical, but his city was dying.

"I… I accept," Alik finally said, his voice firming with resolve. "I will be your Disciple. Tell me what I must do."

"Good," Kalvin's ethereal voice resonated with a tone of pleased finality. "From this day forth, you shall be the harbinger of my return. Your first task is simple: spread my name. Tell them of the 'Mysterious Ruler,' the one who answers when all other gods are silent. Do not speak of me as a god of light, nor darkness, but as the Source of all Secrets and Wonders. I will give you a symbol—a reminder of our covenant."

Kalvin raised his hand again, and this time, the blue mist around him coalesced, drawing from his very spirituality. It formed a small, shimmering, silvery-blue tear shape. He flicked his wrist, and the symbol shot towards Alik, fusing instantly with his chest.

Alik gasped, a jolt running through him, a feeling of incredible clarity and mild discomfort. He looked down, but the symbol wasn't physically visible—it was impressed upon his soul, a faint, cold sensation of power resting near his heart....
