As the sun began to set, Arata walked to the elder's courtyard.
Since the elder's wife had passed away and he disliked attendants, the large courtyard housed only him.
Arata knocked calmly. Upon hearing the elder respond, he entered.
Elder Uchiha Ryo sat leisurely, brewing tea. Smiling, he said:
"I knew you'd come today, kid."

Ryo nodded mysteriously. "You must have sensed it, right?"
Arata frowned. "Sensed what?"
The elder's smile faded slightly. "Your Mangekyō Sharingan… your dōjutsu must have awakened, hasn't it?"
Arata realized the elder thought he had come for guidance about his Sharingan. Instead of denying it, he nodded subtly, planning to reveal only part of the truth:
"Yes, Elder. My Mangekyō Sharingan awakened a dōjutsu.
I've used it once, but the results weren't perfect. That's why I came to ask for your guidance."
Ryo's interest sparked.
"You've used it already? What does it do? Be careful.....not overusing it could damage your eyes."
Arata decided it was time to tell the elder about Uzumaki Country's fall to strengthen his case. His face grew serious:
"My Mangekyō dōjutsu awakened last night. The feeling was amazing, as if it was naturally part of my eyes.
Even without activating it, I could sense its general power."
Ryo nodded knowingly.
"This is natural for the Uchiha. Once the Sharingan evolves into the Mangekyō, the dōjutsu awakens according to the user's nature.
If you like attacking, it favors offense. If you like stealth, it helps hiding.
If speed suits you, it might increase mobility."
He chuckled. "I didn't tell you yesterday on purpose, wanted to give you a surprise. Scared you, didn't I?"
Arata almost laughed at the elder's childlike tone but quickly forced a serious expression.
"Elder, do you know what kind of dōjutsu I awakened?"
Ryo, sensing something unusual, dropped the smile.
"What dōjutsu could trouble you so?"
Arata lifted his head, revealing his Mangekyō Sharingan.
He activated Uchiha Fugaku's mild genjutsu, strong enough to show visions but easily escapable by a normal ninja.
"Elder, don't resist. I want to show you what my dōjutsu saw yesterday."
Ryo, ever sharp, peered at Arata's eyes.
"Precognition type?"
Arata nodded. Ryo, now convinced, allowed himself to enter the illusion.
Although Uchiha Arata did not possess a precognition-type dōjutsu, he had Uchiha Fugaku's ability, "Illusion – Instantaneous Space-Time".
With knowledge of the future.....the downfall of Uchiha Shisui and the near-extinction of the Uchiha clan....he used Fugaku's genjutsu to craft realistic illusions depicting those events for the elder to witness.

This strengthened his argument for persuading the elder to move the Uchiha clan away from Konoha.
Of course, he omitted the later scene where Nagato is convinced by Naruto Uzumaki to revive all who had died.

Because this genjutsu acted purely as an illusion, with no mental harm and only a brief duration, it was like showing the elder a 3D blockbuster.

Once the elder had witnessed the illusions, they exited the genjutsu together.
