Chapter 17 - Chapter 17: Get Out of This Place, Other Uses of Crystal

The Cita Confederation, Alerp City, Fort Fortress, the headquarters of the Azure League.

"President, Sophia should have arrived at Cologne Island by now."

"Take over Cologne Island and unify the north!"

"Unify the north!"

"The North belongs to us, and so does the battlefield of the gods and demons!"

The players shouted excitedly.

President Kelson, a player whose class is warrior, slowly stood up, holding the legendary weapon Golden Axe in his hand. He looked to the south and said, "Brothers, kill all the Southerners!"

"Kill all the Southerners!"

"Kill all the Southerners!"

The players shouted even more excitedly.

A simple village map like Cologne Island was nothing to them. If it wasn't needed for supplies on the way to the North, they wouldn't even bother to look at it.

Their goal was to head south and unify the entire Divine Realm.

Now, with the battlefield of gods and demons in the North under their control, they could go south without worrying about anything.

But just then, crack...

In the middle of the players' excited shouting, a clear sound rang out.

"Kill all the Southerners!"

Crack...

The ground nearby, which was glowing with gold light, made a clear sound. Then, golden light shot up into the sky!

Fort Fortress trembled violently and collapsed.

Countless players who didn't react in time were crushed.

Olson was also standing still. It wasn't until the big roof fell down on him that he finally reacted. He shouted in anger and swung his Golden Axe, cutting through the falling roof with a golden light.

"President..."

"President!"

The players who survived crawled out from under the broken buildings and gathered around Olson.

"I'm okay!" Olson said through clenched teeth. "Sophia failed!"

"Leader, build another ship!" A player stood up and said. "No matter who the enemy is, I'll kill them!"

Olson tightly gripped his Golden Axe. At this moment, he even wanted to go himself and see who this new player was, someone from a village who could beat Sophia. It was impossible to believe.

But as the leader, he quickly calmed down. He took a deep breath and said, "Not yet. The most important thing is to take over the whole north and then go south. That person... send a message to the players in Cologne Island and find out what happened. Unless he stays in Cologne Island forever, once he steps onto the main map..."

"President, are we just giving up?" A player said angrily. "Just a village player..."

"Shut up!" Olson shouted. "How low are you? You're not even thinking about improving yourselves, just wanting revenge. Sophia couldn't beat them, do you think you can? You'd still be the ones I have to clean up for!"

Olson looked around and said, "Temporarily give up Cologne Island. Attack Emerald City and get the Six Divine Sets."

"Yes!" The other players didn't dare to argue, and they all shouted loudly.

Ceylon City.

As they walked, players all stepped aside, looking at George and the others in shock.

The players from the Azure League who had shouted loudly just a moment ago now all lowered their heads, too afraid to look at George.

Especially after they received messages from the League asking them to report on the battle with Sophia and others, explaining why they had failed—these players all buried their heads in their chests, afraid that George might notice them.

George and the others arrived at the Peacekeeper Office.

"George, good job!" An NPC named Marx came over and patted George's shoulder hard. "You protected our Ceylon City and Cologne Island. Go on, Louise is waiting for you!"

After Marx said that, a golden door appeared.

"Are you going to run away?" George looked at Sophia.

Sophia bit her teeth and stared at George angrily.

"Don't even think about it!" George smiled, ruffled Sophia's hair, and walked toward the golden door.

"Little George is so cool!" As George passed through the golden door, Louise appeared in front of him, riding a broom. Her round, baby-fat face was full of happiness, and she kissed George on the forehead.

George reached out and pulled Louise into his arms, then kissed her sweet and soft lips.

Louise kicked her little legs on the broom, knocking George over, and laughed, "Dream on. Do you think beating a simple Two-Headed Wolf is enough to get me?"

George said, "You know that, right? If there's no other reward, then I have no choice but to take you."

"Ugh!" Louise spat, then laughed, "Who said there's no reward? Look!"

Louise landed, waved her broom, and light shone from it. The light landed on the giant skeleton ship, and the ship quickly grew wooden planks. In a short moment, the ship was completely covered, finished.

"This isn't a reward?" Louise said happily. "We can go to sea now, finally leave this cursed place called Cologne Island. Isn't that the biggest reward?"

"Why not build a Transfer Station?" George asked.

"Ugh, ugh!" Louise rushed over and grabbed George by the ear. "Who wants to come to this place? Once we leave, we never come back. Why build a Transfer Station? What, you're not coming with me?"

"Of course I am," George said, putting his hands around Louise's waist.

"That's better!" Louise smiled, kissed George again, and twisted out of his arms. "Go, clean up a bit. We leave first thing tomorrow, or else those angry Dwarves will come out of the ground and kill you for beating their Two-Headed Wolf!"

Louise waved her broom, and the golden door appeared. George returned to the Peacekeeper Office.

George understood what Louise, this very human-like NPC, meant. It was that... they couldn't leave Cologne Island for now.

Tomorrow morning, the Dwarves' army will come to kill us.

That should be another quest, a hidden quest!

"What do you want to know?" Sophia stared at George and asked.

"What was that skill you used to transform?" George said.

"That's not a skill," Sophia said, her voice shaking as she cried: "That's a Holy Crystal! It's one of the few we have in the League, used to set up the Transfer Station!"

She then lowered her voice and looked at George in surprise.

She had been so angry and sad just now, but now she finally reacted. George... an ordinary player, with a weapon that had no Crystal attached, had broken her Holy Crystal transformation. That was like breaking the Crystal itself.

How... could that be possible?

In this game, only legendary gear can break Crystal, right? How did George do it?

"Can Crystal be used directly without being embedded?" George asked.

"Of course!" Sophia wiped her tears and said: "But only mages can use it. And if you don't embed it, the energy inside the Crystal is used up once and can't be refilled."

She added, "What does it matter if you know? Cologne Island is such a small map. It can only produce a few Five Elements Gems. I tell you, even with that, you still can't beat the Dwarves' big army!"

George nodded slowly and smiled: "So after you killed the Two-Headed Wolf, you also met the Dwarves' army. You made it through by using the mages' Crystal energy, right?"

"We didn't need it!" Sophia said: "Our president has legendary gear. We kill a Dwarves, one by one..."

"I had both my weapons destroyed by your Holy Crystal transformation. So, I guess I have no choice but to use Crystal now," George said.

"Ha!" Sophia said, looking down on him: "Five Elements Gem can fight Red Dwarves, but when it comes to the Black Dwarves' hammers..."

She kept talking, looking at George with disdain. But just then, George flipped his hand, and several Crystals appeared in his palm.

Sophia's eyes widened in shock. She immediately shouted: "W-where did you get those?"

She reached out to grab the Crystals from George's hand.

But George was higher level than her, had a higher Insight, and was way faster. He easily pulled his hand back.

Sophia missed, and fell right into George's arms. Her pale, holy face touched George's lower part.

George's mind filled with thoughts of Sophia naked, and his lower body suddenly became hard.

Sophia felt the hardness bouncing under her, and the warmth that came from it. She quickly pulled back, her face red as she said: "I-I won't let you off!"

"Oh, how are you going to not let me off? Try now?" George smiled.

Sophia gritted her teeth and said: "Give me a Crystal. I... I'll use the Crystal energy to help you fight the Dwarves' army!"

"Do you think I believe you?" George smiled and took the Crystal back.
