Yoon Heukjin's POV
Six months earlier.
"Make your choice." My father said his sharp voice reverberating throughout his study room.
I stared uninterestedly at the folders layed out in front of me. This stack of paper held together was to determine my life? I held back the urge to scoff.
It was one thing to be scared of me, it was another to think controlling my life would give you dominance over me.
I leaned back on the chair my gaze meeting his. He must've seen the defiance written boldly on my face as he stiffened momentarily. "I have no interest in your paperwork." I stated.
The lines on his forehead bulged. "You dare defy me?" He questioned. I smriked. "Dare?"
"Father, my very existence defy you." I spat coldy.
"Yoon Heukjin!" His fists banged the table.
"I'm listening." I replied calmly.
"You—" he was beyond enraged. His body shook with rage. He seemed to be on the verge of coughing up blood.
I was bored. Bored of seeing and hearng the same thing every time. His yells, words of spite were nothing new to me. If this were years back, I'd probably have a reaction but now, I just wanted to leave.
Find something fun to do.
Something like…
My phone vibrated inside my pants. I took it out and checked the message. My eyes shone. The message read just two words but it was enough for me.
>Hangyeom. Gangwon.
I looked back up at my fuming father trying to conceal the excitement on my face. My hands reached for the red folder. "I'll take this."
Red, blue and black.
Red meant I was going to work in the education sector
Blue highlighted the medicine line and black meant joining the family business.
His anger seemed to have subsided as he merely drank his coffee. He must still have the impression he was in charge of me.
"But, I have a condition." I added.
I wasn't going to give him satisfaction. I'd spent golden minutes from my time to give him something to rant about, I should at least make it worthwhile.
He gazed at me suspiciously. "What condition?" He asked.
"I'll work at Hangyeom High until the Teacher's Certification Exam." I said curtly my lips carved into a smile seeing as his face scrunched up.
"You want to spend your time at Gangwon?!"
At least he was aware how precious time was to me. I crossed my arms. "Or would you have me remain and find something fun to do?"
I continued with a suggesting smile. "I could always—"
"Hold it." He held a finger and I grinned.
I had him in my grasp now and he must've realized it too. Whatever decision he made now, was going to be in my favor.
I watched with amusement as his eyes darted thoughtfully in their sockets. It was funny how people pretended to be self-righteous, condemning others when they had the most perverse mind.
He had no idea what I was about to say but he hurriedly summed it up because he considered me a what was the word,
A sodomite.
"Fine. Gangwon it is," He said finally.
I chuckled half amused at his stupidity. Sending me out to a place he had no idea what I was about to do there.
He seriously didn't think I was going there just to teach did he.
I rised to my feet adjusting my glasses. "I'll take my leave now." I spun on my heels and walked out slamming the door behind me.
Humans were like chameleons. They hid their true nature behind a layer of skin—A facade. Showing to the world what they wanted to see.
"Young master." The servants waking through the hallways bowed upon seeing me.
I walked straight past them. They'd pay me respects with their head touching their torso but deep down, they condemned me to the darkest parts of hell.
'Yoon Heukjin, the apparent heir of Slytherin Co. The world most reputable company is cut-sleeve.'
'How much shame has he brought to his parents.'
For this reason, my status was never made public. Only staffs working in the family manor were aware and that was because well, I just can't help it when I'm bored.
Humans were all the same. That was why…
Months Later.
"Mr. Yoon, this way. Your presence is exactly what Hangyeom needs. A more than qualifed teacher who doesn't care that Hangyeom is rundown. Your kind is really hard to come by." A man in his mid forties said with a smile so wide his eyes were covered by the layer of skin surrounding them.
I smiled politely. "Sir doesn't need to flatter me that much. I'm only here to assist for a while before I take the certification exam. I'm not qualified to be called a teacher."
Accept flattery and you're deemed haughty.
This was a routine I'd gone through repeatedly for years to create a perfect skin—One that seamlessly got through people.
One I'd perfected just for him.
"We're here. This is the class you wanted to oversee."
I peered over his shoulders and looked into the classroom. The chairs were conjoined together to hold them up. The walls covered with stickers and papers and there he was seated at the end of the classroom staring outside the window.
"There he is. Lee Sehyun. He's the student you asked for months back. He doesn't talk much during class but the previous homeroom teacher holds him in high esteem. A brilliant kid with this air of innocence around him…." The man's words trailed further from my ears.
Innocence….
After all these years he'd never change.
Remained that kid everyone automatically loved.
It made me curious at to whether he'd never do anything to shatter that innocence….
No, I wanted to shatter his innocence myself.

The rain pattered down the umbrella I had over my head as I stood outside his gate watching him silently. Watching as he crumbled to the floor the rain swallowing his sobs.
Seeing how heartbroken he was gave me some sort of indescribable pleasure. Perhaps it was because my days of boredom were finally going to be over, I couldn't help but be excited. My hand covered my mouth as I held back the urge to laugh.
Sehyun that kid, was really clueless.
I turned headed towards my car. I entered and ignited the engine humming softly as it purred to life.
I couldn't hold it back in anymore. I laughed. Laughed so hard my cheeks hurt. It been a while since I'd experienced this feeling.
The drive back home was refreshing. I pulled by the parking lot and stepped out walking in my apartment.
I twirled the car keys between my fingers still humming softly. Pulling the door open, I walked in. The door clicked shut behind me.
I unzipped the leather jacket I'd worn in a hurry before chasing after him, the fabric slid off my shoulders and unto the sofa.
I walked over to the record player by the TV and inserted a disc. My favourite one. The disk slowly spinned for a while before filling the room with the addictive sound of music.
My hands reached for the vase by the record player. I adjusted it's position slightly. The room darkened momentarily then slowly lit up a dim light of purple. I walked back to sofa and sat down humming along with the music playing.
I stared at the ceiling that displayed different pictures. Pictures of him.
My eyes gleamed with satisfaction. My lips parted slightly as I stared fixatedly hypnotized.
'Sensei, Actually I like you a lot.'
I laughed hysterically. My hands stretched towards the ceiling.
Finally.
Finally you are mine.
"Sehyun, I really wasn't expecting this from you."
