Kelsey hooked her arm around Dexter's neck and rested her head on his shoulder, letting out a small sigh. "It's Quiana. I went shopping with her today and had dinner at her place."
Dexter didn't react much, nor did he look surprised. After all, there was only one person here who could be considered Kelsey's friend.
When Kelsey had first gotten her job, she rushed home and asked him nervously if Quiana would recognize her.
Dexter had been worried back then, but as time passed, Quiana gradually accepted things as they were.
After all, back in Spring City, their interaction had been limited to work hours. Although they had a good impression of each other, it was nothing more than a polite acquaintance.
Quiana didn't even know that Kelsey had a younger brother, which made it easy for her to believe the lie.
