Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Inhumanly, impossibly fast.

That is the only fitting description of what he is doing. With the combination of {Solarpunk}, {Miniaturization}, {Efficiency}, {Automation}, and {Stealth}, Simon can create a lot of things. With the help of [Base Builder 9000], he can make them in an instant.

The longest part of this is feeding the blueprint to the ring. However, it is smooth and fast sailing when he is done feeding the blueprint his power lets him make.

The first thing he does is upgrade his house. The walls use bio-solar composites that photosynthesize electricity and filter air. It makes the interior 25 °C or 77°F. As someone from Indonesia, that temperature is chilly for him. The high temperature because of the eternal daylight is something he does not mind, but when it beats him too long, it will affect him.

When he is done upgrading the house, he creates a bunker underneath the house, and he makes sure the wall is coated with a Stealth Membrane that ensures the bunker is thermally invisible and prevents a weak scanner from noticing.

This membrane is called Bio-Skin, and other than regulating heat, it can also repair itself when fed sunlight and CO2, something that this area has a ton of. It is slow, but good enough to fix cracks and holes on its own.

Connecting the two parts are biometal rods that stabilize the building and vent heat. This rod is the reason why the temperature is stuck at 25 °C. It also serves as a geothermal conduit and energy grounds for the Solarpunk grid.

Speaking of energy, he created something that he calls Helio Array. It is a series of very efficient and effective solar panels that mimic tree roots. Because of his {Stealth} and {Efficiency}, you will have difficulty seeing these solar panels absorb the light entirely. He created three of these arrays and produced a lot of energy.

The next one is Lumenroot Condensers. It is a root-like collector that pulls vapor from the hot air and condenses it into pure water 24/7. These guys can collect and produce around 4000 liters of water. With this, Simon doesn't need to waste his {Resource} for water.

When he is done, he creates a small army of drones. The first one is the maintenance drones. These guys will maintain all the tinker tech he made and ensure they are working at their maximum capabilities. They have a small solar panel that recharges their batteries while under sunlight and contains an Aurashade Projector. A stealth projector bends the light, making the drones invisible to the naked eye and protecting them from scanners and radar.

The second group is Hunter Drones. They are full-stealth drones that scout the area and assassinate the target before they can notice them. Sadly, his current specialization does not offer him a lot of weapon choices. There are weapon selections, but they require a lot of energy, and the hunter drones do not have it. Because of this, he modified the M16 that his [Base Builder 9000] can make and made it into a stealth weapon that can be mounted on the drone. This drone type also carries a bigger and more advanced Aurashade Projector, making this drone type a perfect hunter.

The last one is called the Scavenger Drones. They are the ones that gather rubble and material for him to turn into {Resource} or break them using his ring. Like before, they are equipped with stealth technology, but what makes them unique is their ability to carry heavy rubble and material.

Currently, he doesn't have a dedicated turret and has decided to rely on his drones. Stealth is his biggest strength at the moment, and he will rely heavily on it.

Simon is satisfied with all his creations and decides it should be enough for now. He needs to relax and eat something. With a working electric stove, he wants to taste the massive boar and consider what he needs to build next.

He takes out his knife and cuts the boar. He frowns a little at the tough skin, but with enough effort, he can cut through the skin and take a good chunk of meat. With that done, he exchanges some of the {Resource} for salt and seasons the meat.

It is a shame that he cannot exchange it for black paper and butter, but that will do for now. He turned on the stove and put the pan on top. He puts the meat in the pan when it reaches a certain temperature.

While waiting for the meat, Simon thinks of his next move. He needs to make a Fabricator to mass-produce things. However, after thinking about it for a few seconds, he holds it for now. The reason? He wants to make something bigger, and to do that, he needs more charges.

He will put that in the back of his mind for now and think of the next thing.

"Farm. I need a farm."

He needs a farm for his food, but he doesn't know where he can find seeds for the farm. He sighed and put that idea on the back of his mind for now. He knows he cannot create Earth's vegetables and fruits until he has something like {Bio-Synthesis} and {Genetic Reconstruction}.

Simon flips the meat and thinks of another thing.

"Purifier."

He might be immune to the Maso Particle, but there is nothing wrong with cleaning the planet of the filth.

"Or, I can change the Maso Particle into something safer. Maybe turn the particle into a clean mana…"

His mind is working overtime, and already creating a new blueprint. It is a suction technique that sucks Maso and purifies it. It is a tech that comes from his {Solarpunk} specialization. It is based on the tech that lets him clean radiation and such.

However, instead of cleaning radiation, it cleans the Maso particle. At the moment, he cannot create a planet-worthy machine, but it should be able to cleanse the area in this town. It should make this town a habitable area for regular humans.

Simon shakes his head and sears the side of the meat. When it is done, he takes the plate and puts the meat on it. He takes the plate and sits at the table. He cut the meat; as expected, it was tough to cut.

He hums and takes a bite of the meat.

"Hmmm. It is tough, but the meat is surprisingly delicious. It is not gamey, and the meat tastes like beef instead of pork."

He ate the entire thing and washed the plate. He needs to tinker once again.

The next day, he is done making the Maso-Cleaning Machine. He named this machine Maso Purifier Mk. 1. He does not have a great naming sense. This machine uses photonic resonance and bio-plasma fields to destabilize Maso's quantum state, converting it into inert atmospheric ions and trace minerals.

The radius is the entire town, maybe a little bit more, and making the ruined town into a habitable place for humans and other animals. In fact, the other animals look more at peace because of this machine.

It is as if something that makes them agitated ceases to exist.

Sadly, his three Helios Arrays are not enough. Two of them are needed to power the machine. Because of this, Simon created five more. He makes sure to have five to feed his house and workshop, two for the machine, and one as a backup power generator.

It takes so long because he spends most of his time harvesting the rubble and abandoned buildings in the area. It takes a lot of {Resource} to create the machine because it requires exotic material from another world.

He can use a mundane material that can be found in this world, but it will be a massive machine even with his {Miniaturization} specializations.

He needs to eat two ten-story tall apartment buildings. His [Base Builder 9000] hours to break down the two buildings and turn them into something that he can turn into {Resource}, then turn that into the material he needs.

Even with the help of the drones, it still takes time.

Then Simon needs to create the blueprint, fix all the kinks, and adjust the settings. In the end, it takes him the entire day to complete, and the reason why it does not take longer is because a daily shipment of {Resource} comes to save his ass.

Speaking of the next day, his [Inspired Inventor] also recharged, and he has 10 charges to use. Without hesitation, he put three charges into {Energy – Matter Conversion} and three into {Fabrication}.

A wave of knowledge enters his brain, but he is not done. Simon uses two charges to create {Surveillance} and the last two charges to create {Fortification}.

He takes a deep breath and looks around his house. Because of his {Fortification} specialization, he can already see many things that he needs to build to make this place deserve the title of a base.

He needs to create a massive fabricator with the newly acquired specializations for now.

==||==

For hours, Simon worked nonstop to create the best base, and it is starting to reach that stage. The first one he made is the Macro-Scale Solar Fabricator. Just the name suggests, it is powered entirely by Solar Energy.

It is using an upgraded version of Helios Array. It can produce three times the amount of a regular array, but is small enough to be mounted to the fabricator.

The fabricator itself is as big as his house. The solar panel covers the entire top and even the sides of the machine. This fabricator can mass-produce drones and even vehicles. He created this fabricator because he needed another army of drones, but didn't have time to make them one by one.

The fabricator can also pre-program the drones with everything they need to know and immediately send them to work. Lastly, because of his {Energy – Matter Conversion} specialization, the fabricator uses the energy it absorbs from the sun and turns that energy into things he wants it to create.

He is making one hundred Builder Drones and another fifty Scavenger Drones.

These Builder Drones are used to build a wall around the city. These Builder Drones contain the same version of solar panel as the one the fabricator has, and a mini version of the Micro-Scale Solar Fabricator that was used to construct the wall.

With the drone busy making walls and fortifying the area, Simon decides to create something to hide the area. Combining {Fortification} and {Stealth}, he created a Reflective Shield Projector. This thing creates a photonic dome that bends light, makes an illusion that turns the entire town into nothing but a desert, and blocks attempts to scan the area through a scanner or radar.

If this thing hides the town, the next thing is something that lets him see around the area. He calls it the All-Seeing Sensor. It is a ground-planted sensor that continuously scans the area and notifies him if there is movement within its radius. Its radius is 20 kilometers.

Lastly, he created twelve turrets. Using the {Fortification} and {Solarpunk}, he creates turrets that fire a concentrated solar plasma at high speed. He makes sure to spread them in strategic places on the wall to defend the town in case of an attack. He calls these turrets, Firestrike Automated Turrets, or F.A.T. for short. He is a child at heart.

Simon looks at his creations with pride, but his body is exhausted. His body is not the problem; his mental energy is gone from all the work. He needs to rest. With a sigh, he enters his house and throws his body on the bed, knowing that he is safe inside his house/fortress.
