Alex certainly didn't know that someone was so bold as to want to investigate him.
He didn't mind being investigated, but that didn't mean he liked being investigated. So, Daniel got nothing, found nothing.

A few days later, Aria returned to Patrick's Law Office, this time looking even worse.
Not only was she limping, but her arm was also bandaged, looking a bit sloppy.
"Hello, I want to see Lawyer Patrick."
"Lawyer Patrick isn't here." The receptionist had just finished speaking when Patrick stepped out of the elevator and walked straight towards them.
The receptionist hurriedly pulled Aria's hand and whispered, "Follow me. Lawyer Patrick is very busy."
But Aria still didn't move, her cold eyes pierced through the gold-plated glasses on the man's nose, looking straight into his eyes.
She smiled gently: "Lawyer Patrick, I am Aria. A client of yours introduced me to you before."
Patrick finally remembered, this person was the one Emma had mentioned. He nodded slightly: "If it was Miss Emma who introduced you, then follow me."
Aria breathed a sigh of relief.
Holding a briefcase in her left hand, she slowly followed Patrick. The frontman seemed to have noticed this as well, slowing down a bit.
When the two sat down opposite each other, Patrick gently pushed up his cold glasses and said, "Miss Aria, although you were introduced by Miss Emma, I still have to make two things clear first. First, I am very popular, and I do not accept small cases. Second, my specialty is not divorce cases. Our office has many other lawyers; I can introduce them to you."
He spoke the truth, and also implicitly refused. His time was precious; he did not want to waste it on worthless cases. Emma's divorce last time was because Alex asked for it, so he accepted it.
But what surprised him was that, after hearing his straightforward words, the woman opposite did not show any signs of nervousness or embarrassment. Her eyes were still calm, looking straight at him.
Aria leaned back in her chair, her thumb gently stroking the edge of the glass of water on the table. Her cold eyes flashed a sharp light. She smiled slightly: "Lawyer Patrick, I know everything you said. My husband is the young master of the Morris family. Do you think this case is big enough? Just name the price, I accept. My only request is a divorce and custody of my son."
Patrick narrowed his eyes, feeling a little surprised. Christian Morris, the head of the Morris group, was famous everywhere. His only son, Anthony Morris, was a wild, arrogant, and a playboy. Outside, people rumored that he woke up in another woman's bed every night.
The woman in front of him, without any hesitation, without any fear, dared to request to take custody of the son of the richest family.
This case was indeed not small.
"Okay, Miss Aria. Then let's start discussing the details of your case."
Aria pushed the two bags of documents she always held in her hands across the table: "All the details are here."
---
After Aria left, Patrick still could not calm down.
This woman had greatly exceeded his imagination.
The photos spread out on the table recorded the injuries caused by domestic violence, along with videos, audio - all the evidence was very complete. Yet her two divorce applications were both rejected.
As for the rest of the file bag, the documents inside made him unable to imagine that a weak woman like her could get them.
---
Aria stood under a large building, looking up at the vast sky, whispering in her heart: "Nora, I will come to pick you up soon, reunite with you."

Daniel was unwilling. He could not accept that his wife was now someone else's wife.
The assistant carefully reported: "General Manager, the other side just replied that the madam's marriage information is confidential, we cannot check."
"In what cases is the marriage information confidential?" Daniel asked softly.
"Madam cannot do this, only the man that day has the right to do it."
Remembering the humiliation of being "slapped" by him that day, Daniel's mood hit rock bottom.
"Call Crown Holdings' editorial staff, tell them to send someone to interview."
The assistant asked awkwardly, "Do you need to clarify the request for Madam to be the person in charge?"
Daniel glanced coldly, "What do you think?"
The assistant immediately bowed his head, "Yes, sir, I will go to work immediately."
He felt that Daniel had completely changed since he recovered from his illness. Before, whether serious or cold, he had never been as scary as he was now. Perhaps the day he quit his job was not far away.
Daniel looked out the window, his eyes deep in thought.
"Wife, you refused to see me, so I had to resort to this dirty trick."

When Director Aaron once again invited Emma to the office, the curious colleagues around were all listening attentively.
"Director Aaron, I won't accept this interview. You just leave it to Terrence."
Director Aaron was a little unhappy: "Miss Emma, you really don't know what to do. A person like Sterling Group's General Manager, Daniel, we can't offend him. No matter what misunderstanding there is between the two of you, we can't let this affect work."
"Director Aaron, but it's obvious that the other party is deliberately making things difficult for me. If I accept, isn't that what he wants? Sorry, I can't go."
"Emma, remember your position. You're still an intern now, not official. Tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock, I will personally take you to Sterling Group headquarters." Director Aaron's attitude was very resolute, not accepting any objections.
Emma bit her lip, not wanting to let Daniel get his way easily.
"Director Aaron, besides Sterling Group, who else do you want to interview? If I find someone better, I don't need to interview him tomorrow, okay?"
Director Aaron sneered: "Miss Emma, our company is not a big corporation. It's already an honor to interview the general manager of Sterling Group. Stop daydreaming. Do you think an intern like you can draw a cake for me?"
Emma retracted her gaze, her expression serious: "What if I can do it?"
"Okay. If you can do it, I agree not to let you interview Daniel."
