Raven POV:
Humans always seemed so simple in comparison to wolves. They went about their lives with such ease—so carefree, with no need for packs, no need to fight for dominance, no need for strength. The only thing that seemed to set them apart was their wealth. Money gave power, influence, and access. It's almost as if their lives were just like wolves in their own way, except they didn't have to worry about the complexities of rank and hierarchy. They only needed to worry about how much money they had and who had more than them. The movie we were watching made that clear. The girl hated the boy not because he was evil or cruel, but because he flaunted his wealth and power in front of everyone, doing whatever he wanted without facing the consequences. I guess, in a sense, that's what made him different.
