Raven POV:
I didn't mean to fall asleep. I really didn't. The night had been exhausting, my mind still tangled with the mess that was Tyler, Lucian, and the crazy whirlwind that had become my life in the past few days. But the thought of kissing Alex—testing this bizarre connection between us—kept swirling in my head, like an itch I couldn't scratch. So I had gone to bed early, hoping sleep would bring some semblance of peace.
But peace was the last thing I got.
I tossed and turned, trying to ignore the heat that started building in my body. The sensation of warmth, like someone was pressing against me, soft and steady, filled the bed, suffocating me in the most delicious way. My breath quickened. And then, she was there.
