I sat on the couch, legs crossed, one hand resting against my jaw. I'm a rare Alpha — a pure-blooded Alpha. Of course, I can sense it whenever my Omega needs me… whenever he goes into heat.
A faint smile curved my lips as I leaned back, staring up at the ceiling.
He's so stubborn.
It's been a week since his first rut began. The bond between us hums in the back of my mind — restless, alive. I can feel his struggle, his exhaustion, his body begging for relief. And yet… he's still trying to resist me.
Foolish little Omega.
A knock sounded at the door.
"Sir," Gen said as he stepped inside, tablet in hand. "There's been an update about Mr. Lee. He hasn't appeared at the office for an entire week, and his assistant claims he's been unwell. All his meetings are canceled, and his upcoming marriage has been postponed."
He hesitated, glancing at the screen before continuing, "There are also… rumors spreading on Media — that his engagement might've fallen apart."
