ARIELLE
The sleek black SUV rolled through the Blackstones' driveway like a slug on a damp leaf. The pack was already preparing for the night, but the main Dunn mansion looked wide awake.
And I could guess why.
I didn't even have to come inside to hear what kind of tantrum Angela was throwing – she was destroying the house.
Furniture was shoved around, vases with flowers thrown against the walls, plates broken, glasses shattered – all accompanied by the loud growls of her feral wolf.
I was actually surprised that she hadn't shifted and run to hunt to blow off the steam. But as I entered the living room, I realized the reason right away – she wanted to intimidate me. She wanted to show me how enraged she was so that I would get scared into submission.
