A young boy of 7 years old was having a practice match in a wrestling ring that had seen better days. His opponent was older and bigger and stronger. The boy tried to desperately avoid his opponent's chop, but it landed anyway and floored him with a heavy strike.
"Por qué evitaste esa huelga?" A large muscular old man with a bushy white mustache asked the boy?
(In English: Why did you avoid that strike?)
"Porque me duele cuando me pega, ese es su mejor movimiento, abuelo." The boy shyly replied while rubbing his chest where he had been struck.
(Because it hurts when he hits me, that's his best move, grandpa.)
"Hohoho! Justo por eso no puedes huir! Cuando alguien te muestra su fuerza, no puedes huir! Tienes que aplastarlo de frente!" The old man said enthusiastically.
(Hohoho! That's exactly why you can't run from it! When someone shows you their strength, you can't run away from it! You have to crush it head on!)
"Pero…" The boy tried to protest.
(But…)
"La próxima vez, inténtalo a mi manera, nino." The old man said with a reassuring smile and a pat on the pat on his shoulder. "Puedes hacerlo, eres más fuerte de lo que crees."
(Just try it my way next time boy. You can do it, you're stronger than you think.)
The old man started the match again and this time, the boy stood strong and resisted the older boy's hard chop and then threw him to the ground with a powerful slam.
"lo hice abuelo!" The boy said excitedly.
(I did it grandpa!)
"Ves? Te lo dije." The old man said "Cuando derrotas el movimiento más fuerte de tus enemigos, no pueden hacerte daño. Recuerda a ese nino."
(See? I told you. When you defeat your enemies' strongest move, they can't hurt you. Remember that boy.)
Back in the present, Black Mask was reflecting on that lesson while he was in his current predicament and smiled.
"Abuelo, I still remember the lessons you taught me. Even all these years later." He thought. "I hope you're looking down on me, I'm about to put on a show, just like you taught me."
Black Mask then grabbed Tex's arms and fought to loosen his grip around his neck.
"Thanks for showing me your most powerful technique. Now I know exactly what I need to crush on my way to victory." Black Mask declared confidently.
He then crushed Tex's wrists causing him to scream out in pain. He then hit him with a head butt that sent him into the ropes.
"Oh! And Black Mask breaks free in a dramatic fashion!" Ted announced almost jumping out of his seat. "I think Tex Lunger's arms might be broken."
Black Mask followed up with a savage barrage of strikes that Tex was unable to block because of his broken arms. He then grabbed him by the face and threw him across the ring.
"Oh what a swing in momentum now it's Black Mask putting a vicious beating on Tex Lunger!" Ted announced.
Despite the match turning in Black Mask's favor, Tex refused to give up. He flexed his arms and balled his fists and returned fire with heavy punches of his own.
"Whoa! Maybe Tex's arms weren't broken after all." Bill said.
"No, they're definitely broken. He's just flexing his massive muscles to keep the shattered bones intact enough to throw punches. It's enough to move his arms, but he must be in excruciating pain. This guy is even more impressive than I gave him credit for." Black Mask thought. "Out of respect for you as a fighter I'll finish you with my special technique. Of course, I also have my promise with you that I have to make good on." He said.
He then threw Tex into the corner and lifted him over his head and climbed to the top of the turnbuckle.
"Execution Drop!!!!"
Black Mask dropped Tex with his special technique and slammed him into the mat. When he did so, it collapsed the ring under the immense pressure of his technique. Although the referee seemed unsure of what to do at first, he eventually started his count as Black Mask held Tex's shoulders down to what was left of the ring.
"1!"
"2!"
"3!"
"And that's it! The match is over and Black Mask wins in a dramatic finish!" Ted announced as he jumped out of his seat in excitement. "He will be the next man to challenge for the Universal Championship! What an instant classic match!"
As Black Mask celebrated his victory in the ring with his teammates, the current SWF Champion, Super Maxx, entered the ring and had a stare down with Black Mask.
"Oh and a tense moment between two men who just may be fighting for the Universal Championship in the near future." Ted said.
"Of course, Super Maxx still has to win his match tomorrow night against King Kamehameha." Bill added.
"That's exactly right. And what an amazing match that will be. I for one can't wait to see how that match plays out. That's all for tonight folks. Good night and we'll see you again tomorrow night at Whiplash in San Diego!"
After the event had ended a large man in a black hoodie was on the phone. "He won just like you expected. What should I do now?" He asked.
"Don't worry. Everything is going exactly to plan, everything will be alright as long as you follow my instructions." A distorted voice said from the other side of the phone.
