The next opponent that entered the ring was the journeyman wrestler known as Bagman. The fighter with a ridiculous appearance was completely outclassed by Black Mask in every aspect of fighting. However, what made him so dangerous was his extremely high pain tolerance and endurance.
This was a major issue for Black Mask as he would still have five more matches to fight after his match against Bagman. He couldn't afford to get dragged into a prolonged battle against Bagman, but no matter how hard he hit his opponent he refused to stay down.
"Bagman has been resisting all of Black Mask's attacks. Despite all the damage he's taken, he's still moving just the same as he did at the start of the match." Ted announced.
Black Mask dropped Bagman with another punch before he lifted him over his shoulder and threw him over the side of the ring. He followed up with a dropkick as he jumped out of the ring. As he left the ring, the referee started the count. A wrestler would be disqualified if they weren't back in the ring my the count of ten. If both men were counted out the match would be ruled a draw.
"1!"
"2!"
"3!"
While both men were outside the ring, Black Mask hit Bagman with an F-10.
"4!"
He then proceeded to stomp his opponent while he was on the ground.
"5!"
"6!"
"7!"
Black Mask didn't let up the pressure as he hit him with spinebuster into the barricade. Even the tough as nails Bagman was sprawled out on the ground after such a vicious beating.
"8!"
Black Mask jumped back into the ring to avoid a count out for himself. Bagman was slowly starting to get back up and trying to get back into the ring.
"9"
"This is a cleaver tactic by Black Mask, to avoid expending the energy it would take to pin Bagman he just left him knocked out outside of the ring a now he's hoping a count out can end this match early."
"10!"
Just as Bagman had made his way back into the ring the referee had ruled a count out and declared Black Mask the winner.
"A nice move there to save some energy, and he's going to need it as it seems his next opponent is another tough one as it's going to be Mr. Zombie!" Ted announced as Mr. Zombie's music played and his graphics played on the screen. However, he wasn't coming out to the ring.
As the referee was looking for Mr. Zombie towards the entrance, Mr. Zombie appeared from behind Black Mask and had a steel chair in his hands. He attempted to hit Black Mask while he wasn't looking but Black Mask caught it in time and knocked Mr. Zombie back with a strong punch. Black Mask protested to the referee but she didn't see anything so she couldn't disqualify Mr. Zombie.
"Mr. Zombie trying some underhanded tactics here but it didn't work out for him. Unfortunately the referee not able to intervene, she didn't see the infraction." Ted said.
"Yeah, that's just the rules. Black Mask can complain if he wants, but he's going to have to fight this one out." Bill added.
"Of course, Mr. Zombie is unable to feel pain, he's not an easy out either this might be another match that drags out and saps some more of Black Mask's energy."
Just as he did with Bagman, Black Mask repeatedly beat down Mr. Zombie but again he managed to keep getting up. It started to seem like it would be another drawn out fight, but Black Mask hoisted Mr. Zombie over his head and dropped him on the ground before doing a standing moonsault onto him and holding him down for a three count."
"Wow! It's impressive to see such a big man move like that, and it seemed he used that size advantage to hold Mr. Zombie down for the count. Would you agree Bill?" Ted asked.
"Yeah, even I'll say I'm impressed. I didn't know he could move like that." Bill replied.
The next opponent to come out was Keith Koa, half of the legendary tag team the Koa Brothers. He was a large muscular man with short trimmed black hair and beard and he was covered in tribal tattoos.
"Oh I didn't expect this, Keith Koa is coming out to the ring. If I'm not mistaken these final four spots might go to the members of King Kamehameha's faction, The Tribal Alliance."
Black Mask was visibly breathing heavy at this point of the match. It was clear that his previous matches had taken their toll.
Keith opened with a spear that was stopped by Black Mask, who then knocked Keith down with a double axe handle. He then stomped on his opponent's head while he was on the ground.
He got back up and the two began to exchange punches back and forth. Black Mask had gotten the better of the exchange, but he was starting to show signs of exhaustion.
Keith hit Black Mask with a super kick, it knocked him off balance, but it didn't knock him down. He landed another kick to the same effect, and finally the third kick was able to knock him down.
Keith then got to the top of the turnbuckle and hit Black Mask with a frog splash. He then tried to cover, but Black Mask immediately broke out. The match then turned into a long drawn out stalemate with Keith attempting to wear down Black Mask's stamina even more.
Eventually Black Mask got a hold of Keith and threw him in the air before uppercutting him on his way back down. Black Mask then climbed the turnbuckle and landed a massive elbow drop before he covered for the three count and got another victory in the gauntlet match.
While he was still relatively unscathed in terms of damage taken. However, his exhaustion was only growing with each match. It seemed that he didn't have much left, but he still had to win three more matches to win the gauntlet.
