I pulled the shirt on again, instantly appreciating the soft fabric. It was ridiculously large on me, hanging loosely over the matching shorts, but it was the most comfortable thing I'd worn in ages.
I made a mental note right then and there to buy more sets of shirts that are big just like this. I never realized that a big shirt and short combination could be such good nightwear, but now I knew better.
I headed downstairs for dinner. When I finally reached the dining room, Madam Coi was already waiting near the entrance.
The moment she spotted me, she smiled and quickly ordered the staff to bring my food in. It was a sweet, small gesture of care that I genuinely appreciated. I smiled back at her gratefully, sinking into my chair at the massive, long dining table. I started eating immediately, already starving.
