"The first dance of the night belongs to the main guest," he said with a grin. "May I have the honor?"
Emilia shot Lukas a sideways glance.
"You dragged me into the very center of the ballroom, and now you ask as if you need my permission?"
Lukas burst out laughing, his deep voice drawing the attention of everyone around them. The nobles who turned to look quickly understood the moment they saw the Duke's hand resting lightly on the Princess's slender waist.
