Selene POV
The first thing I heard was my name, echoing through a distance that felt both far away and painfully close. Lucian's voice cut through the darkness like a thread of light, calling out for me with that steady command that always made my heart respond before my mind could. I tried to follow that voice, tried to move toward it, but my body did not respond. Instead, something else pulled me from within, a warm force that was not frightening but inevitable. When I finally opened my eyes, the world around me was nothing I recognized. I was suspended above a shimmering silver surface, levitating as though gravity did not exist. The air hummed like a soft choir and the space stretched endlessly, but I knew immediately this was not the realm of the moon goddess. The presence, the energy, and the colors were completely different.
