Waking up sprawled on top of Taeryn, his arms locked tightly around his waist and that peaceful, boyish expression softening his features, was a sight that made Rihan's breath catch.
Taeryn always looked a little wild with the eyebrow ring and lip ring, that mix of roughness and innocence that should be legal.
He lifted a hand and gently ruffled Taeryn's messy brown hair. Moving was harder; the subtle grind of movement dragged him right against Taeryn's morning wood, and a low heat curled through his stomach before he forced himself to still.
That was when his phone vibrated loudly on the nightstand.
He froze, glancing down to make sure Taeryn didn't stir. But the alpha was completely knocked out, his grip loosening only after Rihan carefully, slowly wriggled free.
Once he escaped, he snatched his phone off the nightstand and slipped out of the bedroom, shutting the door behind him as quietly as possible.
Minjae's name lit up the screen.
