"No! Don't go there.", Xin Ye said. She can't let Jin Hai to touch the Chronofang.
Jin Hai turned. He was fed up of this lady because she was stopping him all the time. He loaded his gun and shot on her shoulder.
Mu Yang widened his eyes and he held Xin Ye. Xin Ye cried in pain. Her right shoulder bled. She felt that her hand had turned numb.
"Jin Hai! You have crossed your limits! You will get what you deserve!", Mu Yang said in a warning way.
"Shut up! Let me take the Chronofang then I will show the world who is the master!", Jin Hai said.
Jin Hai walked in the tunnel. For a moment he didn't feel anything weird. He continued walking. Then suddenly an invisible wave hits him and Jin Hai fell out of the tunnel and hit the wall.
"What's this?", Jin Hai asked in pain. He tried to get up from the ground. His bodyguards helped him to stand.
"You will walk ahead of me!", Jin Hai said to Xin Ye.
Xin Ye clenched her fist. Jin Hai came near Xin Ye and pushed her inside the tunnel. Xin Ye held her right shoulder from left hand. She walked slowly.
Xin Ye tightly closed her eyes because she thought that the invisible ray of guqin would hurt her. But nothing happened. She only felt wave in her tummy which was collapsing with her.
Xin Ye turned and looked at Mu Yang. Mu Yang nodded his head to make her feel better. Jin Hai realized that since they entered the cave then nothing happened to Xin Ye and Mu Yang. All the incidents happened with him and his bodyguards.
Xin Ye felt that she had lost her strength. The continued bleeding from her hand was making her body weak and dizzy.
Xin Ye's vision blurred. She felt dizzy and felt so weak that she could faint at any moment.
Everyone went through the tunnel and reached the hall where the Chronofang was kept. Xin Ye's heartbeat quickened and she moved closer to Mu Yang.
"We have to stop them somehow," Xin Ye said.
"Let's go! See what will happen now!" mu yang said.
Jin Hai smirked. He pointed the gun at Xin Ye. Now he would kill her because that girl was no longer useful to him.
"Don't even dare to kill her!", Mu Yang said.
Jin Hai fired, but his gun didn't fire a single bullet. He looked at his gun in shock. The gun was fully loaded, but why didn't any bullets come out?
Mu Yang started fighting all the bodyguards one by one. He suddenly gained a tremendous amount of strength, which even Jin Hai and Xin Ye hadn't expected. The bodyguards were trying to shoot at Mu Yang but their guns did not work.
Mu Yang took a bodyguard's gun and shot him. He then killed the remaining bodyguards. He slowly walked towards Jin Hai. Every step he took gave Jin Hai goosebumps. Jin Hai's forehead was sweaty, and his hands trembled. He reached into his pocket and felt something.
He had a knife in his pocket. Just as Mu Yang was about to attack Jin Hai, Jin Hai slashed Mu Yang's neck with the knife.
"Aaaaaaa!", Xin Ye shouted. She pulled her hair and began to cry loudly. Her cries echoed throughout the cave. She sat down on the ground and looked at Mu Yang's dead body.
She was devastated and no longer felt like living. It felt as if her life meant nothing. She lost her friends and her crush. Yes, she started to like Mu Yang, but now Mu Yang is dead. His death happened in front of Xin Ye, and Xin Ye didn't even do anything.
Jin Hai laughed. He walked towards Chronofang and stopped just as he was near it. The lust for power was clearly visible in his eyes. He was obsessed with power and nothing else. He didn't care what impact it would have on people.
Xin Ye looked one way at Jin Hai, who was very close to Chronofang, and the other way she looked at Mu Yang's dead body. She covered her face with her hand.
Jin Hai touched the Chronofang. From its head to bottom, it felt comfortable. That's a different feeling. Holding a power that could hold the entire world in one's fist felt quite adventurous to Jin Hai.
Jin Hai tried to pick up Chronofang, but it was too heavy. Jin Hai took a breath and tried again to pick up Chronofang.
"Argh! Well... it's heavy!", Jin Hai mumbled.
Jin Hai placed his foot on the rock and then tried to lift the Chronofang. He continued with his work without paying attention to what was happening nearby.
Xin Ye sobbed. She had gone numb. Her lifeless eyes and pale face revealed the dilemma she was in.
When Xin Ye felt something appear in the cave, she turned her eyes towards it.
"Chao Xiang!!", Xin Ye mumbled. She saw Chao Xiang's shadow in the form of a sculpture, similar to the one in his building.
Chao Xiang's sculpture appeared there on its own. Xin Ye couldn't understand anything for a moment. The outer layer of rock particles started falling off Chao Xiang's sculpture. The real color of his long multilayered hanfu became visible. The fingers of his hand moved.
Suddenly, all the dust on Chao Xiang vanished, and he appeared in his original form in the cave. He tilted his head, and a sound came from his neck, as if he had been suffering from a stiff neck for a long time.
Xin Ye sat quietly, gazing at Chao Xiang, who looked no less than a demon. His eyes were black and deep. Her face was covered by a mask. His long, dense hair reached down to his waist.
Jin Hai didn't know what had just happened. He was just trying to pick up Chronofang. Suddenly, Chronofang disappeared from its place and landed in Choa Xiang's hands.
