Chapter 418 - Chapter 417 – The One Who Transforms into Ultraman Tiga

After listening to the discussion, everyone agreed that Russia's proposal — to eliminate the remaining monsters — was indeed necessary.

However, developing new weapons would also require a massive amount of resources. At the moment, that simply wasn't feasible.

"Rather than focusing on upgrading weapons," said one of the Huaxia representatives, "I think the most important thing right now is to properly resettle the disaster victims around the world."

"Most people are now displaced and homeless," he continued solemnly. "Food and other resources are critically scarce. Many don't even know if they'll live to see the next sunrise."

"And because of these apocalyptic disasters," he added, "some people's minds have reached a breaking point. In some places, looting and violence have broken out. We must send people to maintain order."

His analysis of the current situation was precise and well-grounded.

Even the representatives from America nodded in agreement — the Huaxia representative was absolutely right.

Their own "land of freedom" was now full of people who had completely abandoned restraint, causing serious damage to public safety.

"By the way," said the representative from France, raising his hand, "could we perhaps consider retrieving the Eiffel Tower from the Himalayas and bringing it back to France?"

During the monster rampage, a dimensional creature named Bullton had teleported the Eiffel Tower to the summit of Mount Everest.

So now, France's most iconic landmark was still standing amid the snow, proudly atop the world's highest peak.

"No."

The response from the other nations was unanimous.

Moving the Eiffel Tower back from the Himalayas would be an enormous engineering project — a complete waste of already-scarce global resources.

If they had that kind of capability, it would be better spent building an elevator up Mount Everest instead.

"…"

The French representative fell silent, realizing that everyone else opposed the idea.

It seemed the Eiffel Tower would have to remain on Mount Everest for quite a while.

Then, one of the representatives from England suddenly spoke up.

"By the way, about Ultraman Tiga's human host — if I recall correctly, Tiga first appeared in Huaxia, didn't he?"

The Huaxia representatives immediately grew tense.

Indeed, Tiga's first appearance had been within Huaxia's borders — and they had already considered the implications.

From the very beginning, Huaxia had secretly launched a comprehensive investigation around Xia City, where Tiga had first appeared.

They found… nothing substantial.

Or rather — almost nothing.

When Golza appeared in Xia City, the government had swiftly initiated an investigation into all individuals within the affected area after the monster was defeated.

But such a massive search was like looking for a needle in the ocean. They never found the person they were looking for.

However, later, during a global joint meeting, Huaxia's intelligence agents had quietly delivered a report to their higher-ups.

According to the report, a suspected Camearra-type Ultraman had appeared near a small village close to Xia City.

That village was now under special protection by Huaxia authorities.

After all, such information could never be allowed to leak.

Ultraman Tiga — or possibly Camearra — might be hiding among the villagers.

The possibility that Tiga could be a Huaxia citizen stirred subtle excitement among the higher-ups.

After all, Huaxia-born, Huaxia spirit — we're all our own people, they thought.

Of course, the protection wasn't made too obvious.

Officials were sent under the pretence of "helping the villagers rebuild," in hopes of gaining their trust…

Or perhaps — gaining Tiga's trust.

"Who exactly are you people?"

Belial's cold voice broke the silence.

In front of him stood two men dressed far too cleanly and neatly for this muddy, ruined village.

It didn't take a genius to see that these two were not locals.

The villagers — having survived disaster — all bore weary, dusty faces, their clothes stained with dirt and ash.

But these two? Immaculate. Outsiders, without a doubt.

"We're here to help the villagers rebuild," one of the men said with a practiced smile.

When his gaze swept past Belial and landed on Nagano standing behind him, his expression flickered with surprise — even excitement — but he quickly suppressed it.

His partner also seemed to notice something and subtly signalled to him with his eyes.

"Rebuild the village?" Belial sneered, shaking his head.

Did these fools really think he was stupid?

Disaster reconstruction usually focused on cities, not some nameless village at the foot of a mountain. And yet they came all the way here, claiming to help rebuild?

Hearing Belial's translated words, Nagano also frowned.

Yes — something was definitely wrong with these two.

But to their surprise, the men didn't press further.

When they saw Belial's expression darken, they simply turned and left the village entrance.

"How strange," Nagano muttered, scratching his head. "We'd better keep an eye out for outsiders from now on."

"Yeah," Belial agreed quietly.

A short distance away, hidden behind a large rock, the two men were whispering excitedly.

"Lishan, this is unbelievable — it's like fate dropped it right into our laps!"

"Exactly, Chen Hu! We need to report this to the captain right now!"

Their assignment from headquarters had been simple — infiltrate the village, make contact with the locals, and identify the human host of either Ultraman Tiga or Camearra.

But before they even entered the village, they'd spotted two men.

One middle-aged man they didn't recognize…

And one ridiculously handsome man — who looked exactly like the Daigo from the television series!

Daigo.

The human host of Ultraman Tiga!

Could it really be… that the man before them was Daigo himself?

Maybe he had crossed over from the world of fiction — just like the monsters had appeared in reality.

"It must be him!"

"Captain, we've got a new discovery!"

Lishan raised his communicator, his voice trembling with excitement.

"How many times have I told you? Call me Captain, not 'Boss'!" came the deep, authoritative voice over the radio. "You just got there — how could you have results already?"

"Sometimes luck beats timing, Captain!" Chen Hu cut in, grinning. "We've found Ultraman Tiga's human host!"

"What?!"

The Captain's voice rose sharply with disbelief.

"Who is it?!"

"Well…" Lishan hesitated. "Based on our observation, we believe the host might actually be Daigo, the one from the Ultraman Tiga series."

"Daigo?!"

The captain fell silent for a moment, clearly shaken.

Could it be that not only monsters had crossed into the real world — but the legendary warrior of light himself?

"Wait a minute…" the captain muttered, suddenly realizing something.

Then, without hesitation, he switched channels and dialled the Island Nation Branch Office.
