"No! All Soldiers of Atlantis, listen to me!"
At this moment, Orm also stepped out of his mothership, holding his silver trident, and came before Atlanna.
He looked at his mother, surprised that she was still alive, but angered that she stood against him.
So he raised his trident and pointed it at the former Queen.
"Atlantis, have you forgotten?
This woman before you is no longer your Queen; she has already been exiled!"
Atlanna looked at her younger son, speechless.
But Orm was a qualified villain. After adjusting his mindset, he quickly got into character.
"I ask you, why would an exiled Sinner appear here? Obviously..."
"She betrayed Atlantis!" Orm shouted loudly.
This statement caused an uproar!
All the Soldiers of Atlantis looked at each other, unsure whether to believe it.
But after all, the King's own son said so... Yet, hearing Orm twisting facts like this, Arthur couldn't stand it anymore.
He roared, "Shut up!" Then he stood up, leaped, and with both hands gripped the golden trident, slashing downwards.
Orm was startled at first, then reacted incredibly quickly, catching the trident with both hands.
The Impact separated the two of them instantly.
Only then did Orm look closely at that man, and he immediately understood: that man was the "bastard"!
His maternal half-brother, Arthur Curry.
This realization made Orm's face darken.
"So you still chose this bastard, didn't you, my dear Mother?"
The jealousy and hatred in Orm's heart began to twist his mind; he would never admit, never admit that the man before him was his brother.
And he would absolutely never admit that he was the King of Atlantis!
"Arthur Curry, a half-breed bastard, by what right do you stand before me now?"
Orm deliberately used insulting words, trying to provoke Arthur, and he indeed succeeded.
Upon hearing this, Arthur charged again, dragging the golden trident, leaving a trail on the ground.
Then he lifted it, spun it once in his hand, and using the momentum, smashed it onto Orm's silver trident.
This time, Orm, who was prepared, blocked the blow.
When he tried to counterattack, he found Arthur's strength surprisingly immense; after blocking, he was unable to launch an attack.
So he could only temporarily retreat a step, avoiding Arthur's subsequent combo, and pointed one end of his trident at Arthur.
Arthur sensed the danger and quickly raised both hands; a beam of ion light suddenly shot from Orm's trident, hitting the golden trident and sending Arthur flying.
But Orm did not press his advantage; he vaguely sensed that he might not be a match for this "bastard" on land.
So when he saw Arthur wanting to continue pursuing him, he immediately raised his hand to stop him.
"Wait!"
Arthur was an honest boy, and he actually stopped and waited for him.
Atlanna and the others sighed, and Vulko even felt a bit of frustration.
Why are you waiting for him? Just take him down decisively!
That way, in full view of everyone, would he still have the audacity to call himself "King"?
But this opportunity was already lost.
Sure enough, Orm immediately launched a verbal attack:
"Arthur Curry, I know who you are, and I know why you've come."
Then he spread his arms towards the Atlantis Army and shouted, "Atlantis! Do you know who this man is?"
"He is the illegitimate son of the former Queen Atlanna and a Surface Worlder, a pathetic bastard!"
Even though the Undersea Kingdom's technology was more advanced than the Surface's, its social and political structures were still similar to the Middle Ages.
Especially given the fact that pure bloodlines indeed symbolized a closer connection to God, their class consciousness was deeply ingrained.
A half-breed, even if the other half of his blood was royal, Arthur immediately faced the contempt of the people of Atlantis.
Orm continued his performance: "And now, with the support of the former deposed King, my half-breed brother actually presumes to challenge my throne."
Arthur was not an eloquent speaker, and he did indeed intend to challenge the throne, but his original intention was to prevent a war between the two Worlds; he personally didn't care about the throne at all.
But in Orm's narrative, he was portrayed as a shameless scoundrel who, relying on his mother's bloodline, wanted to usurp Orm's position.
This made Arthur feel wronged and very angry.
But Orm changed the subject, saying:
"However, I have never feared any challenge. If my brother truly wishes to challenge my throne, then he must duel me in the Ring of Fire."
Arthur didn't understand what the "Ring of Fire" was, when he saw Orm turn his head and give him a provocative smile:
"I just wonder if this bastard, who has Surface blood in him, dares to!"
Arthur's blood immediately rushed to his head, and he shouted loudly, "Good! As you say!"
The plan succeeded! Orm's lips curled slightly; this man was simply too easy to read!
But Atlanna and Vulko's hearts immediately sank. This was bad; he had fallen into a trap!
Fighting in Water was advantageous for Orm!
However, the only comforting thing was that he still didn't know what kind of trident Arthur held.
After all, the trident of poseidon had been missing for a thousand years, and even if they saw it, it would be impossible for them to immediately associate it with that divine artifact.
"Three days from now, I will be waiting for you in Atlantis, my brother. I hope you still have the courage to challenge me then!"
After delivering his threats, Orm wanted to make a quick getaway.
Under Superman's gaze, he already felt immense pressure, not to mention having to deal with Arthur, this guy who jumped out of nowhere.
Now, quickly returning with the Army to lick his wounds and choose another day to fight was the proper course of action.
Dane marveled at his cunning; with just a few words, he had turned a seemingly certain defeat around, but... did he not put me in his eyes?
Dane pointed a finger skyward, and a bolt of lightning instantly struck down from the already overcast clouds, landing in Orm's path.
He turned his head, looking at Dane with a serious expression.
"I say, you came here with your Army, caused a ruckus, and now you just want to walk away? That's a bit disrespectful to me, isn't it?"
Dane suddenly accelerated, instantly appearing before Orm.
Orm was astonished to find that he couldn't even perceive how the other party had moved!
But he quickly reacted; the other party clearly had no good intentions, and he was decisive, directly raising his trident and attempting to strike him.
But Dane seemed completely unfazed; the trident struck him with only a "clang," as if hitting a steel plate.
But Orm felt it was incredibly unbelievable; with his strength, even real steel would be directly snapped by this trident, but the man in front of him seemed to feel nothing.
Dane reached out and grabbed the trident. Orm reacted, gripping the shaft tightly with both hands.
But Dane simply exerted a force, and the trident was directly wrenched from his hands.
Orm immediately felt his hands go numb, his fingers feeling as if they were about to be torn off.
Dane threw the trident with one hand; it flew out like an arrow from a bowstring, blowing up the distant mothership.
This seemingly ordinary but extremely lethal attack instantly sobered up the Atlanteans; now was clearly not the time for them to be in charge.
Originally, Dane had thought of resolving this matter before Orm launched a war against the Surface, but who knew this sneaky guy was so eager, starting a war against the Surface before even subduing the other kingdoms.
If you're so arrogant, then I'll have to show you the cruelty of the World!
He grabbed Orm's armor with one hand, easily lifting him. He was over six feet three inches tall, and Orm looked like a child in his hands, which severely damaged his prestige in the eyes of the Atlanteans.
"You, you dare!"
Orm's face turned crimson, and he gripped Dane's arm tightly with both hands, but no matter how hard he tried, Dane remained motionless.
Dane sneered, "You may be the King of the Undersea World, but in your culture, I am a god!
Even your ancestor Poseidon cannot come and go as he pleases in my World!"
With that, he ripped off the ridiculous helmet from Orm's face, and simultaneously stripped off his armor.
These excellent Atlantis steel pieces were no better than paper in his hands, and were stripped away in a few motions.
Having done all this, Dane threw him in front of Atlanna. Orm lost his footing and knelt directly before her.
Dane's words then echoed again: "Orm must pay the price for his hasty declaration of war, and not just him, Atlantis too!"
"Otherwise, the Justice League will punish him our way!".
